Topic: Logitech webcams won't work in Stop Motion Pro?

Hello.
Two days ago I tried my old Logitech Quickcam Pro E3500, just to see if it worked.
When I opened Stop Motion Pro, the camera wouldn't work properly and I got a message like "the memory couldn't be read".
I just got my QCP9k, and it worked very well with it's own software and Facebook chat. But when I tried it in stop motion pro, I got the same error. For some strange reason it worked perfectly when I was shooting at an extremely low resolution, but when I turned it up to 640x480 it wouldn't work. Do you have any idea of how to fix this problem?

Specs:
Camera: Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 (for business)
Processor: Intel Pentium 4, 3.2 ghz (two cpus)
RAM: 2 gb
OS: Windows 7 professional (32-bit)

EDIT: I checked, and it works in Monkeyjam.

Hm.  Well, for me, the 9000 was the only camera I ever used with SMP, and it works fine.

It sounds like SMP thinks the 9000 is the E3500.  It's definetly a problem with SMP.

Try asking this in the Help section of the SMP website.  They'll be able to help.

Not literally dead, just no longer interested in Lego or animation.

I alredy asked them on their helpdesk. I uninstalled the Logitech webcam drivers, so I don't think that is the problem. And even the E3500 has worked with SMP before. But thanks for your help mini/smile

EDIT: I found a solution, and that's using Stop Motion Pro's directory scan feature. I can't use onion skinning, but it allows me to do frame flipping and previewing which is pretty sweet. mini/sunnies
