Topic: DSLR users: sensor cleaning (large file warning)
Just wanted to share this with you guys...
I use a Canon EOS 1000 DSLR, and I had noticed sometime ago that my sensor was "dirty".
So originally I intended to let a professional clean the sensor, but this costs quite a bit so I decided to try it myself.
I wanted to get the fluid and swabs from Photographic Solutions, but these weren't available in shops nearby. What i DID get was a Giottos Rocket Blower, which costs about 10 euros.
I was a bit sceptic about what "only a little air" could do, but now I am quite content with the result. See the before and after images below. Please note that this was done with ONLY the Giottos Rocket Blower, no wet cleaning:
