I'm just wondering does anyone know how to download the free trial CS4 version of after effects?
You see I've got a 32bit computer and CS5 needs 64bit to run. So if anyone knows how to get a free trial version of AE CS4 please say on this thread.

Torrent. You can probably get the full version for free if you search hard enough. Although it is illegal, the cost of After Effects should be outlawed as well.

Welcome Nate! I discourage what is said above and Nate, I also think you broke a rule of the site by saying that. I mean it is illegal to get pirated copies of softwares after all.
That's why I mentioned it was Illegal to do so. If you torrent a trial is that still 'Illegal?'.
OP:
You may have to just update your system to run 64bit windows instead of 32, or get a new computer.
I think that the Q&A on the Adobe website said that Adobe AE Cs4 is included with 5 and 5.5 for until you upgrade to 64 bit.

Thanks all off you. I think I'll just update my computer to 64bit.
In order to update to 64 bit you will need to buy Windows 7 I think and install it on your computer. Your computer will also need a significant processor and large amount of ram. The lowest one can go is 2 GB, but you'll be waiting hours just to edit a few seconds of footage. Especially if you film in HD. A quad core processor is about the minimum also. I recommend an Intel Xeon(6 core) which is only found in the professional models or an i7.
I think if you are some pirate you still can't find it for free, or if you find you pretty sure lie yourself to registeration, 'cause Adobe softwares need it.

My budget is £300 for a laptop and ive saw Intel Xeon and they are quite expensive.:o
