I HAVE read the threads about this in the forum, but I couldn't find anything.
I have tried four different webcams, one of them was noisy as a construction area and grainy as a wheat farm.
These webcams were the Logitech E3500, the C910, and the Microsoft Lifecam Cinema and Studio.
So I'm wondering: what should I get? Should I go for the Logitech Webcam pro 9000?
Yes, go for the 9000. I use it, and you can get really great quality with it.
If you know how to use it right, then go for the Quickcam Pro 9000. What I usually do when setting up a shot is have everything on auto, then put everything on Manual, which keeps the settings where they are, and adjust the focus as needed.
I started using Quickcam Pro 9000 after 3 years of using a pretty crappy webcam (couldn't even focus properly and the imaqe quality smelled like monkey poop) and I gotta say that you won't be disappointed if you pick 9000, when I first started using 9000 I felt like I was re-born it was an amazing feeling and I will never ever leave my precious 9000 ever again 
I have been wondering why people are still recommending the 9000 even though the C920 and C910 are out? Not being disrepectful or anything, I really have been wondering for a while.
Go buy the Logitech C920 and shoot for the moon!
C920 I think doesn't have manual on most things.

C905 or C920 are the best I guess. I don't like webcam pro 9000.

It's a classic brickfilmer's decision. It's just is 
most of my favorite brickfilmers made their films with 9K.
Yeah, people achieve great results with it, and many of the best brickfilmers use it.
Oh by the way, I can't get DSLRs or stuff like that. My budget is like an average 12 years-old.
As an owner of the c920 I'd thought I'd mention it has manual everything and is an excellent webcam for brickfilming. It also has a great stand that has a tripod mount and it even quite sturdy balancing on Lego studs

Yeah just because something is newer does not mean it's better.
Exactly.
Congrats, that's a great choice. And yeah newer doesn't make it better. Good example? Horror movies. Modern horror flicks are BS 
I have a QC9000. Still awesome.
No matter what you guys say, I still love my C910!
