It must have something to do with the new channel layout because ever since it was changed my views went way down and apparently your's as well.

I tend to agree. I have had a very hard time getting views on my stuff after the new channel layout switch. I think alot of my subscribers and regular viewers, have left youtube after this.
I got a E-mail from youtube saying this:

I have no ideal what "WorldNetTV" is, so i think It's safe to say it's not from them...
i used music that was royalty free, but the rest is just badly animated legos running around.

It's some kind of Asian channel http://www.youtube.com/user/worldnettv/ apparently not a really popular one as well as I have more subscribers than them and I'm just a lego animator.
What license was the music under? If you're sure that they have nothing to do with it then maybe you should write a complaint if that's possible. Then WorldNetTV will have to either back off or sue you and I highly doubt that they'd choose to sue you 
P.S. Is "The Pineapple" the video that you're talking about?

A video about Cosmic Panda layout where many youtubers claim their average per day views went over 60% down which also means the income for partners went way way down. So at least it's not a problem that only we brickfilmers have
I am wondering how long it will take for our views to rebound. I am guessing right around the time they "upgrade" it again... 
I wish I knew Youtube did a really stupid thing, they will never admit it publicly but they sure did.
Will they ever change it back?
I'm 99.99% positive they will never do that. In a year or two (maybe three) they'll introduce a new layout which hopefully will look somewhat like the old one, but that's just me guessing what's going to happen in the future. Maybe they'll introduce even uglier layout saying "This is user friendly. Love it or hate it we still gonna keep it"
The only way we could've kept the old layout was if the big partners said no to it. I'm talking about guys like RayWilliamJohnson, Smosh, ShaneDawsonTV, Fred and so on, if they told youtube they'll stop making videos unless cosmic panda goes away youtube would've had to keep the old layout. Imagine if top50 youtube partners stopped making videos, the earnings for youtube would go down like 60-70% which would be a disaster for them.
