Yeah me too! If you have a mic you could record them on your own though.
P.S. This probably should go to audio
Here there are footsteps on rocks, and on the next page is footsteps on a few other things. I think I had a better source a while ago that had the footsteps actually at 15 fps, but it's gone now; I may try to find it if I have time later. But this way, you can edit it in audacity to conform to whatever length of time you need, then save and use for all your films. Hope this helped!
Thank you Kcirbfilms those footstep sounds are SAWEEEEET!
I made my own footsteps by banging pages of a book together and then editing it a bit in Audacity.
Here are some good ones I like Footsteps - Female Heels Walking On Gritty Concrete and Footsteps - Male Leather Sole Walking On Gritty Concrete
Remember, whatever footstep sound you use, it has to subtle. Normal-volume footstep sounds get annoying, so the sound has to be a bit quiet.

Not necessarily, it all depends on the scene and what you want to say with it. If it's some dangerous guy walking towards the protagonist the footstep can sound loud (almost like drums).
