Yeah the new account registration is getting greedy, back in the day all you had to have is a nickname and a password, then the linking with google accounts began...
Is a rate of about 100 hits per video decent enough? Also, what's are the best dimensions for a YP Channel Layout? I need one desperately

If you want, I can give you a blank template I made. (This goes for everyone who wants one).

What do you mean by "100 hits per video". Does each of your videos gets 100 views (approximately) every month/week/day/lifetime or what? If the video has been published like 8 months ago and it only has let's say 113 views of course it's too few.

I know what you mean; I tried to make an Alt channel a few weeks ago, but it wouldn't let me. It said I needed a Google+ account (which I don't have) .
Has anyone else noticed a increase in unsubscribers recently? I am wondering if people are closing their accounts after the new channel transition.

February was really bad for me but right now it's getting back to normal. I think this whole layout thing did have a very negative influence on many channels, the views in February also went down for me about 20-25%.

Yeah, it seems as if after every transition, alot of people leave. The Brickarms forum transitioned to a new system a while back, and I am not sure the commuinity has recovered yet.
...I made another channel. This time I'm keepin' with it. www.youtube.com/user/BindingBrick ![]()
Ive asked this on you tube a few time but haven't got an answer
my you tube account is enabled for monetization, one of the rules is you cant put adverts on copyrighted materials yet i have noticed that many you tubers can put adverts on their Lego films, it would be understandable if they were original films using characters and themes created by the user but some of them are star wars, Indiana Jones and batman, things that have been trade marked
does being a stop motion film cover it under some kind of fair use, id like to know before i put an advert on my own Lego videos and run the risk of getting them taken down or worse my account being closed
I would appreciate any input you guys might have
Raven
As far as I know, it extends to copyrighted music or other video clips, not themes or ideas.
but what about brands the product being used for the films is clearly Lego or other building toys
As long as FF101 is monetizing videos like Captain America or Batman and not getting punished for it I don't think we have anything to worry about.
I thought the same i just want to know what i would need to write in the box when you put the adverts on as i could find anything official on the lego site to quote
@Binding Brick] I'm subscribed! ![]()
On another note, someone just posted the classic "hey go check out my channel" comment on my channel.
I'm actually quite proud, because that means I'm popular enough that people think they will get traffic by posting on
my channel. ![]()
This is a proud day for me.. ![]()
Or, you know, he wants me on my own to go check out his channel... Either way I'm happy. ![]()
