So basically there's an guy named Joseph Kony who kidnaps kids in Africa and makes them be sex slaves, child-soldiers for his army and HE'S BEEN DOING THIS FOR 20 YEARS!!! IT NEEDS TO END. SPREAD THE WORD


KONY 2012 is a film and campaign by Invisible Children that aims to make Joseph Kony famous, not to celebrate him, but to raise support for his arrest and set a precedent for international justice.

Lechnology, you think this is funny? You think this is a joke? The pictures may be a joke and not for real.

You may care about the situation, and you may wanna do something about Kony. But, those photos aren't showing that you do. Think about all those children and think about what Kony is doing. Those pictures are offensive. I can just see Kony looking at those photos right now and laughing his no-good head off.

No one in the right mind would joke about this. How dare you, "Lech". Aside from Mr. Comedian here, this documentary really makes me wanna do something about this, even if I am just a lowly pre-teen who doesn't have a Facebook or Twitter.

The people behind the documentary are not people you should be supporting. The majority of donations go toward their own gain.

Either way, you're not gonna do much good by just spreading a video around. It's the truth. Action is essential, not slacktivism.

Eyup, Invisible Children is a pretty questionable organization, though raising awareness about atrocities in order to incite people to social justice isn't necessarily a bad thing in itself.

Anyhow this isn't really an appropriate venue for this kind of discussion, so let's just stop while we're behind.
