Re: Brickception: The Untold Stories (filming process)

Urg! No more flame war plz!

The plot seems creative enough. However what I have a problem with is the lighting. I suggest adjust the white balance on your camera (like, when I think of Inception artistically I see grays and blues, not oranges and ochrey browns.)

Ok thank you for the tip!

Re: Brickception: The Untold Stories (filming process)

So let me get this straight, Brickception and Inception are different? I own Inception on DVD and know that movie like the back of my hand. The setting and plot of the story takes place in Europe and Dominic is trying to place an idea in this one rich guys head because the Asian guy pays him to do it. They hire a girl and have her be the architect of 1 level. Does this mean that there are 4 levels and then Limbo, along with the characters Cobb, Eames, Fischer, Saito, Arthur, Arladne going into the 3rd level together to go another level deep to plant the file idea into the rich guys mind. That idea happens to be about his father, or something close to that.

From the looks of your signature that seems to be a replicated picture but in Lego where Arladne is learning how to mess with physics while under. 1 hour equal 10 minutes in reality, blah, blah, blah. This to me seems like a complete rip off of the hit film Inception by Christopher Nolan, and you just want to steal his idea and call it original. You sir, have no creativity, a very small imagination and need to buy a new camera. I can't stand all those pixels on the screen. At least buy a bloody QuickCam 9000. They are super cheap, you know what, don't even buy yourself a camera until you can come up with something original and worth watching. GOOD DAY SIR!!!

A Life? Cool! Where can I download one of those from?

If that was a mirror that he was looking in, why are his clothes different?

I'll be back animating soon! Exams and computer faults are keeping me away </3

Re: Brickception: The Untold Stories (filming process)

It seems that you stole that image off of flickr. How talentless and unskilled you are.

A Life? Cool! Where can I download one of those from?

Re: Brickception: The Untold Stories (filming process)

Ummm, CarrollFilms, aren't you being a little harsh?
You haven't seen his movie yet, and he hasn't shown you the script, so what makes you think this will be a rip-off?
And since he said that he's changed the script, why not trust him?

Can we at least give him a chance to make his movie, and not flame him the entire time.
Yes, he is new, but you can disagree kindly, it's not that hard. mini/wink

Re: Brickception: The Untold Stories (filming process)

It's simple as this. Inception = Brickception, same idea, calls it original, thinks it's his own idea. I'll make sure to thumbs down this video once it comes out.

Whats your problem? Your going to thumbs down his video because it's not original mini/rolleyes , how do you know he's not making a new concept of inception?

Re: Brickception: The Untold Stories (filming process)

Quit being a jerk, Carrollfilms. You don't have to like the movie, but that doesn't make flaming, berating, and name-calling acceptable here.

Thank you! it is nothing like the movie just with the same characters.

I was just very angry because CarrollFilms was being very rude! He attacked my originality and my talent and my skills and was not tactful at all. My plot is here

Re: Brickception: The Untold Stories (filming process)

That plot is still unoriginal. You can make this film, but I would advise creating your own story with your own characters and your own settings. And the using the title Brickception on a film with the same characters and concept is the easiest way to be accused of copying a film, not to mention an Oscar nominee. About the signature, use footage of your actual film. That image isn't yours, you didn't credit the creator, and I doubt you asked permission from the creator. Make your own sets, or better, make your own original film.

He attacked my originality...

Re: Brickception: The Untold Stories (filming process)

Alright guys, stop the bickering. Let's not get personal here. This counts for CarrollFilms as well as Chirochibechirt.]

Re: Brickception: The Untold Stories (filming process)

What I understand is that this film is going to be a spinoff of the film Inception, of course with the same story but shows a different aspect of the film. Which, if pulled off properly can be very original (NO NEED TO MAKE GENERALIZATIONS PLZ)
