i'd be mad as Cheese if someone did that to me, i'd set the Goshdarn Batman on them ![]()
I don't see the point these people have in re uploading a video from someone else's channel to theirs. About 75% of the time, the video they re upload is from a popular, quiet well known channel, so usually people will see the video and know who uploaded it, and it only gets you getting dislikes and hate, and mostly ruining your credibility on Youtube. So basically these people are actually trying harder to ruin their online career (If they even had one to begin with) for truly no reason.

Lol my youtube is Fox454x
It took me a while but i have partnership. Just make awesome videos and people will watch
Could be worse. You could have a Reply Girl respond to your video.
Hahaha this is so true. I don't know what I would do if that happened... As an update, thanks to YouTube's swift action, the video in question has already been removed! ![]()

Those videos serve one purpose and one purpose only.

And, then people will dub things and such. Like this,

I don't see the point of that. It's annoying and useless. ![]()
Has anyone actually spent some time studying copyright? I figure the more that is known about the issues, the better prepared you are to defend your uses and therefore YouTube would be more willing to approve your various videos.
If anyone has studied it, what are the best guides? I'm going to take a look at iTunesU, if I remember right, they have a program on copyright. Listening to that while animating would be perfect.

Haha
Indeed.
So I should be flattered that my WORST BRICKFILM is copied multiple times?
No seriously, I have one video called Lego War Rock. It has 464.638 views. Pretty much. It was my first, and it was crappy.
Yet this fella copied it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdmuyjKjm-0
and this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q2QQaJbR8ls
There was another one but that one dissapeared (I've flagged them multiple times, and sent messages to them, maybe it helped?)
It's flattering if someone is making his own brickfilm based on your own, but just plain stealing is no fun.
Annoying isn't it. Had that happen to me on one of my live action films. I noticed that it wasn't getting the traffic that my new videos usually get, and found out that most of it was going ot the copy. What is even more frusturating is that he got a better thumbnail then me...
Got him to take it down though.

That's why you do this http://youtu.be/77zwwHET4xQ The Goshdarn Batman will take care of this ![]()
Youtube is too goshdarn large and the youtube people don't do anything about these blatantly copied videos, yet they go a gallavanting and removing videos with copyrighted music in it.
Gosh, I love Vimeo.
Ok, so appearantly some dumbo copied my Freddy vs Jason lego film which is BTW one of my bad films yet has over 480K views on youtube....

Not true, I filed about the copied video in the morning and by the afternoon of the same day it had already been removed because of my complaint. I didn't expect such speedy service, but they sure provided. I'm glad YouTube is so large though, without such a large audience it would be harder to get as many views perhaps.

Yes they do. I once reported a copied video and refreshed the page and got a new page saying: this video is removed because of multiple copyrights claims of [insert company here]. It took them 8 seconds. So I can probably conclude that they do do something about it
.
Lost a couple of subs. ![]()
