Topic: use MonkeyJam and istopMotion?

Hi everybody, I finally gave up the search for a webcam/software solution for mac and installed win xp on my iMac so I could use qcp 9000 and MonkeyJam. And it works like a charm! After a year witout any brick filming at all I now have a room where I can film(!) and i'm looking forward to practise mini/bigsmile

My question is: would it be a good idea to export the pictures from MonkeyJam to iStopMotion for further treatment?
does anyone have any experience?

Re: use MonkeyJam and istopMotion?

Before I had DragonFrame, I did use a combination of Helium Frog and iStopMotion. I used HF for capturing with the LQCP 9000, then Gimp for frame editting, and the I used iStopMotion for recreating a movie clip from the editted images.

I didn't use monkey jam because the lack of Onion skinning...

Thx, this is how I plan to use it.
Can I ask you: is DragonFrame worth the money and do you still use qcp 9000 ?

I think dragonframe is totally worth it! Currently i use a dslr but keep the qcp around for shots that i can't do with the dslr.
