Yet again, the mention of Forrestfire has brought more than two pages of "discussion".
I'm not going to add to the discussion because anything I say will be redundant.
A lot of bad things have happened to people around me, violent things, maybe that's why I put violent stuff in my vids. I've never been in a fight though and am completely in peace 
whatever let's just forget the FF101 topic and talk about good stuff instead

I dunno much, but I do know that if you have a machinima partnership you can put gameplay videos on youtube and monetize them while an ordinary YT partner can't do it because he'd infringe copyright.

People that do gaming videos can't get regular partnerships do to copyright. But Machinima makes deals with gaming companies which allows people to get partnerships even if they do gaming vids

Okay, I just read through the last few pages of this thread. How childish are all of you? That is a serious question. You guys must have no lives whatsoever that you spend most of your time insulting someone who probably doesn't even know or care about you at all whatsoever. Constantly speaking about him is making him more and more famous. You guys are probably just jealous of him, admit it. I find nothing wrong with him, heck - most of the people complaining about him are making brickfilms worse than his. If what he wants is to make brickfilms, regardless of what they're about, you guys should be supporting him as fellow brickfilmers, instead your insulting him and flagging his work for "terrorism" (Like seriously, who even does that? That's pathetic and childish.) If you guys even want to be respected the slightest bit on this site, grow up and stop whining. Jeez.

The majority of this thread is a cycle of posting channel stats and flaming FF101. I'm starting to wonder if this thread should still be here.
It should since it serves a purpose, for people to ask questions and receive answers about YouTube. It's not the threads fault that the people who post in it are immature.
If there is a need for a thread dedicated to only asking and answering YouTube related questions, then make a thread to answer only that need, leaving no room for general discussion about YouTube. That's the problem with this thread, it's too open ended, thus we get crap like the last couple of pages.

All righty, I'll change the subject.
I just lost a bet with my friend to see who could laugh obnoxiously longer (I was off by 8.5 seconds 
), so I changed my channel to that ugly new design. BLARGH, I HATE THE NEW DESIGN!!! 
It says that, effective in March, all YouTube channels that don't already have the new design will be changed to the new design, whether they like it...OR NOT!!!!
I just read through the last few pages. Forrest left years ago because he didn't like the insults people threw him, so why are you freaking out now?
The bottom line is, Forrest makes his content because he likes it and enjoys it. Who are you to go up to him and tell him to make happy and family friendly films. If you don't like it, don't watch it. The tweens who rave over him like his work, but they are probably old enough to know good and bad.
I don't know where Forrest roams, but here is not one of those places. So don't complain about him when he isn't here to care.
Now if only this were enough to shut up anyone for a year at least...

Yeah, that's why he made a 30 min + live action zombie film which I hear cost over 5000 dollars for his subscribers to see for free.

I hate and love that new design at the same time. I find it convenient that the main two stats (subs and overall views) are located at the top. What I don't like is the overused glossy style that the design incorporates. While the interface is a step towards improvement, the actual look of the overall design is horrid. I hope some major improvements are made before it is made the standard channel design.
