But "Shocking and Disgusting content" is a matter of opinion. I feel like some are missing the point I am making, or intentionally ignoring it. And why is everypony defending FF101 now? Does everypony really hate me that much?
Whatever, forget it. I've got my morals, and I'm not changing them. I feel like some crazy underground revolution of the media should take place but I guess it's best not discussed here.
Does everypony really hate me that much?
Yes
Edit: In all seriousness, if you're that offended by FF101's work, I feel deeply sorry for you. Might as well protest My Little Pony for making fun of mentally ill patients and animal cruelty
Stop being such a spiteful child

Can we please talk about something else?
Can we please talk about something else?
No, it's like a live wrestling match! But online.
Plus, if you ask me, I think the Machinma Partnerships are equally as stupid.

Just reached 50 subs.
Half way to 100. ![]()
If you honestly think that the video is not appropriate then you definitely have the right to flag it so stop attacking the guy. Sure calling it terrorism is not the right way to put it but I still agree with Topitmunkeydog, some of FF101's vids are very inappropriate, he doesn't give a sh*t about his audience, all he wants is cash and 15mins of fame. When your audience is thousands of kids you don't just make videos full of unnecessary brutal violence. Besides me being a Captain America fan I just couldn't take it watching that video of FF101's, that's not what Cap stands for... ![]()

How are the machinma partnerships stupid?
Also, forrestfire101 says that those are the kind of videos he makes, and people should stop trying to change his 'art'. So, if you don't like the videos, don't watch it.

I don't really want to drag my self into this but I couldn't help but notice your YouTube channel. http://www.youtube.com/larrystudios
It's pretty much everything FF101 isn't.
If any brickfilmer can start a war , it's Forrest.

I haven't seen ForrestFire attacking BiM anytime lately. It only ever seems to be the other way around.
I don't like ForrestFire's films as well. No real cinematography at all, and they are just plain bad. But PLEASE, PLEASE, do not abuse the Youtube flagging system. That doesn't help anybody, and it really is just a bad idea.
On another topic, currently uploading a 1 minute, 5.2 gigabyte brickfilm... Yikes.

My videos have violent scenes because I'm a big action movie fan and I make brickfilms when I'm inspired by live action films, I also like horror movies (I even liked SAW films even though I didn't expect to) and my audience is like thousands of times smaller than FF101's so I don't really have the power to influence a big number of people, what videos I make in this case is not important... Give me like 50K subscribers and I'll be glad to make Family friendly vids
you see my point in the previous posts was that when your channel becomes as popular as FF101 and like 80% of the audience are kids you have to stop making gory videos.... Forrest has responsibilities now but he doesn't frickin' get it.

You don't understand. Forrest has kids subscribing to him BECAUSE of those 'gory' videos. That's his type of audience. If it ain't broke, don't fix it
Edit: P. much what NXT said

So basically you are saying that if you are popular you have to completely halt your creativity and instead start making Barney.
Just because you are popular doesn't mean that you have to stop making mature content. Lets face it everybody, with the immediate transfer of information nowadays, kids are going to get exposed to violent, gory, possibly sexist or offensive stuff.
When you develop as a child, one of the many things that you learn from parents and teachers is those things are purely for entertainment purposes, and that it is not right to mimic those acts in real life and in public.
It is the content creators choice as to whether they want their content to be intended for family or mature audiences. Forrest has clearly gone with the latter choice and, quite honestly, I am OK with that. He has the right to free speech and the right to express his opinions. Whether or not you agree with them is completely up to you. Am I saying I agree with him myself? Not necessarily.

So basically you are saying that creativity is shooting people in the face twenty times straight. (hrmmm...)
Now, I agree with whoever said we should talk about something else.
LOLOL JARGON YOU KIND OF QUOTED ME OUT OF CONTEXT THERE LOLOLOLOL
PS: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CtCV_3XeVGg
So, what do you think of the new youtube channel design? [/idleconversation]

Its whatever you want it to be.

NXTManiac & Timothy R you guys are right... It's just really sad that kids are so excited to see a bunch of drilled legos rather than watch a brickfilm like Doug's "America outlawed".

And therein lies the deeper issue at hand. Do people like watching violent things because they were previously exposed to violent things, or do they like expose themselves to violence in the first place because of social pressures?
We should seriously start a philosophical debate thread. That would be a lot of fun.
