Any body know how to import a reference picture into Blender 2.5 running on a Mac?

Click 'N' for properties, scroll down the bar that pops up until you see 'Background image', expand that tab and choose load image.
Ok, thanks. ![]()

By the way, does anyone know how to make objects shiny in the Cycles render engine? All this "use nodes" stuff is killing me.
Oh, okay.
hi, sorry this has probably been asked before, but what lego creator program do I use to make models I can Import in to blender and how do I do it?
Alfa
ok, thanks, what do you export it as?
Don't you have the power to sticky things?
Here is a short animation I made in Blender just to test mah skillz. I'm quite happy from the turnout, though it does have flaws.
Yeah... I accidentally made it change direction during the animation process. ![]()
Bumpo.
Here are a few things I made.
1: I have (Almost) perfected Lego material in Blender.
2: I have made an iPhone/iPod wallpaper in Blender, which you may download and use on your iDevice of choice.

can i just get a quick post explaining how to animate with this? i have 2.6
I don't think a quick post will cover everything you need to know to animate using Blender or any 3D animation program. You're going to have to make the effort of learning on your own, like everyone else. You want a quick fix solution, be a magician or wizard. Oh wait, they had to take time to learn and practice sorcery too. Whodathunk.
Plenty of Blender tutorials out there for you to learn from.
ZP: Let's see that door in a scene to better judge if it looks real enough.
