I'm more concerned that at the end he says it deserves a four, then gave it a three.

The reason I gave it a 3 because I didn't like the movie while other people do like it silly! mini/lol  it deserves rating 4 overall (rated by thousands of people) but I personally give it 3.

Judging from his stated location, I'd say he did.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Eh. Even though I disagree I guess it's his opinion.

The Warriors
Really fun, liked it way more than I was expecting. The designs for all the different gangs were really clever and looked awesome (gloriously dated), plus all the different characters were pretty well written and it was nice seeing how they all made up their gangs, if that makes sense.

Agreed.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Aguirre, the Wrath of God
Glad I finally saw this. It was really bizarre but very good. Klause Kinski was intense, especially near the end.

Adaptation
Even better than I expected. Clever and funny all the way through. Cage was perfect.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Fitzcarraldo

Another Herzog/Kinski film like above. I sadly missed Aguirre when it was on in the cinema but I managed to catch Fitzcarraldo. If you have short attention spans keep away. It's slow moving and great. It's the only film I've seen with Kinski but now I really have to seek out more films of his as he was great.

Guns of Navarone
Good ol' fashioned men on a mission film and it has Gregory Peck and David Niven so you can watch for them.

The Lavender Hill Mob
Funny. Go watch.

Dolphin Tale
Great movie. Absolutely loved it.

Karate Kid (2010)
This was not my first time seeing this.
Not as good as the original though a Jackie Chan was great in this.

Karate Kid (1984)
Awesome movie though the fight scenes could've been better.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Fargo

Absolutely amazing. The story was great, the actors were great, the music was great, and the setting made a really brilliant atmosphere. I loved it, and I strongly recommend it. 10/10

Mysterey Team
This was hilarious. Donald Glover's performance was !@#$ brilliant, as always.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

THE ROAD

Probably the most realistic Post-Apocalypse movie ever. At parts it may feel very slow but before watching it you have to understand that it's not another post-apocalyptic blockbuster. And there is one extremely shocking scene in the basement (those who watched it know what I'm talking about). Definitely a movie everyone has to see.

Close Encounters of the Third Kind

Fantastic. This is clearly one of the best films of all time. The actors did a brilliant job, the story was incredible, the dialogue was great, the VFX were great, the music was fantastic, and the camera work was also great. Spielberg at his best, I say!

Being John Malkovich
It was a strange movie, definitely in a good way. Malkovich was superb in this movie, and I really want to know the name of the puppeteer and meet him, because he really did a wonderful job. Great movie.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior

Despite the fact that I didn't like the first Mad Max movie this one in my opinion was quite brilliant. One of those few examples when sequel is way better than the first movie. Definitely one of the best Mel Gibson's movies.

Knowing

Pretty good, though I feel I'm the only one who actually understood the ending. mini/tongue

I guess the ending's pretty much about...like, it's all about the children. When the previous generation ends, a new generation will start. *sighs* I guess it's pretty much like

The whole Adam and Eve thing all over again...

By the way, LASF, you're right.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

The Room
Watched it in a theatre for the second time, easily one of the funnest movie experiences I have ever had.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome

I kinda liked it, Mel Gibson's performance was great and Tina Turner was also cool as Aunty. But this film is very different from the first and second Mad Max's. It's more like Peter Pan movie in the post-apocalypse mini/lol besides the guy who played Captain Gyro in the Road Warrior somewhy was playing another character who most of the people thought was the same Captain Gyro and the creators didn't do much to separate these characters. They both have flying transport, the only difference is their teeth mini/bigsmile anyways, I liked the first half of the movie and then it kinda went down...

Raising Arizona

I lost faith in Nicholas Cage ever since I saw Bangkok Dangerous but I gotta say even though this film was made way earlier than Bangkok Dangerous hit the theaters (it was released like 18 years earlier) I regained my faith in Nicholas when I saw this film. Raising Arizona is a really great film, very entertaining, the characters are all great and the epic "post apocalyptic biker bounty hunter" character is simply outstanding! mini/bigsmile one of the most iconic characters ever created, and those two shotguns of his.... mini/lol  he is hilarious! A truly wonderful movie, a must-watch if I may say.

Domino

People always complain how Tony Scott's films are unwatchable because of the way they are filmed and edited but boy I don't get them! Domino is a pretty entertaining movie with a really great cast and even though I don't like Keira Knightley not one bit but I still managed to watch the entire movie and I really enjoyed it. For me Domino is not nearly as good as "Man on Fire" but it's still a pretty decent movie.

Natural Born Killers

A movie which in my opinion shows how violent we truly are. We are smartest animals on earth but we still are animals. According to Oliver Stone the film's message is "Media always glorifies Mass Murderers for no reason" but I do not agree with him. If NBK was filmed using Q. Tarantino's script then it would've definitely shown how Media glorifies serial killers, but since the screenplay was re-written it's not about the media, it's about two deranged people who only prove how bad a human being can be and how childhood affects our lives.

Cowboys and Aliens
It was pretty good, but slightly lacking in the story department.
