Topic: Resolution and aspect ratio?!

I have Nikon D3100 and I don't konw what I must to do.
Super huge images. mini/sad

Small: 2034 x 1535
Medium: 3456 x 2304
Large: 4608 x 3072

And I want HD or good quality and whole YouTube's resolution thingy:
No black bars and stuff in video:

Shrink the image in your editing program. And maybe your camera has a XS-Size.

You mean that I must rezise all pics singly or go to editing program and smaller the rendering zise.

It's awesome that your camera is actually able to handle 4608x3072 resolution, as you can get so damn high quality out of that. You'd need to check up on the camera to see if it has some sort of res-size, as small at 2048x1535 is not small at all.
The black bars at the side of your video is because you're shooting 4:3 format, instead of YouTube's default 16:9 format. There should be a feature on your camera to switch over to 16:9 instead of 4:3 as that feature is basically on every new DSLR / Handycam / digital camera.

My camera has the same thing only I have a super speedy computer and that allows me to shoot in large. My software manages to convert it to 1920 by 1080p. Also like Jackpody said you should see in which aspect ratio you're shooting in. Ideally try to shoot in 2.66:1 which is cinemascope, the imax quality.
