Whoa.. Update...
I'm actually liking the main page though...
At first glance, I'm like "WHAT HAPPENED!?" but after a little more close inspection, I realize that it's actually a lot more organized. It'll just take some time to get used to it..
Anyone want to make a background for me? I can't seem to get that cartoony feel to it, with the bubble text and all.
How do I see my subbers and friends?

I sorta like the home page. It's more organized, though I don't like the fact that you're updated when someone comments on a video. I absolutely HATE the new channel design, it just seems too much like a blog.
Youtube homepage looks better but boy the new channels look ugly, I'm keeping the old layout as long as I can 
The new channel design is terrible. I can't see my subscribers, friends and comments.
I also don't like the homepage, because I'm not able to hide videos that I don't want to watch.
Like LarryStudios said before, I'm keeping the old layout.
The new design looks pretty great, if not a little too busy visually. I'm still undecided about the channel layout - it has its pros and its cons.
I'm going to ask exactly the same question I ask YouTube every single time they make yet another unnecessary update:

Oh God it looks horrible. This is probably the worst update they've done. The home page is cluttered, the channels look awful and it's just...eugh. How exactly can I go back to the old design?
You go into "edit" mode on your channel, and click the "old design" button (I don't remember exactly what it says).

They're gone along with the subscribers and friends. 
The channel design wouldn't be as bad if they didn't get rid of subscribers and friends and pretty much everything.

Unfortunately, there is no way to get the old homepage back.
God, YouTube can't just stop. At least Vimeo doesn't switch around as often as YouTube. =P
I also third the idea of keeping the old channel layout as long as possible.
I sent a feedback message though not like YouTube actually cares what I think.

Firstly, if you do not like the new channels, you can easily switch to the old. Its not martial law that you have to use the new design.
And personally, I actually like the new homepage. It feels more organized.
It seems as though many people (not necessarily anyone here, but on Youtube in the comments) hates any change at all, just because its different. I have seen a lot of complaints about updates to Youtube, and most of them go a little something like this:
"MUUUUUUAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!! YuTub Chang playa design! Why they NOt kep as it was?! MUUAAAAHHHH!"
I mean, I can under stand if you think its cumbersome to use, but hating something just because its different? Did someone sleep through pre-school?
By the way, LASF, I am pretty sure YT does care what you think. Why do you think they let people keep the old design?
