Well, you use the 9000 and a mac.

No I don't, actually.

The best one I can think of is the Logitech Quickcam Pro 4000. It's out of production now, but it was the best 'cheap' camera for brickfilming until the 9000 came along.

The Logitech Quickcam Vision Pro.

Made for the Mac, like the 9000. I have never used it though. Here is the link to the Logitech store: Linky

That doesn't have manual focus, so it's a bit useless.

oh. I better read the specifications before I post. Sorry y'all.

Re: Good Webcam for stop motion for a mac

I have looked into this issue intensively (unfortunately).  Unfortunately, all the Logitech products are great, but useless on Macs (except for the 4000).  The only other passable webcam good for animation on a Mac is the Apple produced iSight.  And no, not the internal ones that come with Macbooks and iMacs, but the external one.  Link here  If you buy a program called iGlasses, which will allow you control over manual focus.  I would try this, because it appears to have great quality, but it's too expensive.  So it's Boot Camp for me.  Anyways, hope this helps.
