Re: The Animation Challenge
There was a little light flicker at around 4:00. Great entry FF, I enjoyed the wall painting.

Sorry for the double post, but
HERE IS MAH ENTRY!!!!
Hmm... animation was good, but he stood far away from the wall, which I think look wierd.
Judging time!
The entries are:
- DDProductions
- ZP
- Eagle Animations
- Funtastic films
- Alexsnowskate
- Coolasice11
Everyone above did a great job but I have to chose a winner, so here it is:
(BTW. I had a really hard time determining 3rd and 2nd place, everything was so nice.)
The winner is:
3rd place: Alexsnowskate. I liked how you let the plasticine "grow".
2nd place: Coolasice11 Shaking the can was a nice touch!
1st place: ZP. I really like how you used actual lego's and let the brush ran dry in the end. Also, dipping in the bucket was nice.
Special metion:
- Eagle Animations. Very nice animation, but I felt the film was more about the painter than about the actual painting process.
- DDProductions. A shame that you didn't let the paint appear during painting.
- Funtastic films. It felt a little bit rushed, and looked as if you had some advantage by looking at the other entries. (If not, than I apologize!) Very nice effort with the pen though....
OK, ZP give us a good one!
Bricksplosions? Backflips? Flying LEGO man? Jumping? (I know. That last one's lame.)

Bricksplosions has already been done:

How about animating a Bionicle/Hero Factory figure?
Bionicles!
Building something (either fig building something or a crane or other vehicle building something, or unspecified), scuba diving (focus on smoothness and slowness, so not necessarily needing masking), jogging (not running, jogging. There's a difference [I think...]), alien invasion (zapping cows, lifting people, crash landings, etc.), mowing the lawn, laying siege to a castle (battering ram, catapults, etc.), street shootout (eh), laser blast (must be made out of LEGOs, ideas could include a laser blast from a satellite, making a crater and whatnot would be optional but preferred). Just a few ideas.
Bionicles!
What if one does not have Bionicles? I don't know about you guys, but I'm not going to go out and buy something that I'll use just for an animation challenge and then never again....
EDIT: Sorry for the double post.

Well, you know you don't necessarely HAVE to enter in that particular challenge. If I don't have one I just don't enter, I would have to wait just one more week and there's a new challenge.
Climb a ladder would be fun.
Some of suggestions:
-
Chopping a tree
-Lip synch
-Swimming
-Climbing a ladder
-Climbing a tree
-Up/down stairs
-Daily routine in the morning
-Growing taller
-A short story with no minifigs
-Eating
-Theme park ride
HAVING A SEIZURE
Cooking/Baking
Getting a HaircutPainting/Drawing
Getting run over by a steamroller
Getting a shower.
Baking/Having a Seizure/Getting a Shower are all great ideas. I'd actually love 'Doing 'Chores', as it's widely open to interpretation like 'Exercise' was.
