Topic: Originality in a Short Film

My friend and I are working very fast to make a short say 9-10 Minute film for our schools film festival.  The film festival is in May so we have plenty of time.  However we don't have plenty of time before the snow comes.  I need your help coming up with a plot because my friend says everything we begin to script isn't going to work.

We want to do something with a meaning, not people exploding in mid fight or potions that make you invisible.  We thought about a bullying video but I thought they always have the same plot.  Do any of you have the slightest idea what we could work off of?

Make it a funny in bad way video like most teachers show us. Also, you could do the nerd as the bully and the big tough guy as the victim cause you could also talk about verbal bullying.

No offense, but that sounds horrible.  This is also a film, not a teaching lesson that I am trying to present.
