Topic: "Good Mornin', Honey!" Film Update Thread [PLEASE CLOSE THIS THREAD]

Hello!

So, I have currently started scripting for a bit shorter brickfilm called "Good Mornin', Honey!"
It is going to be a cartoon kind of brickfilm, but I don't wanna go too ahead and make it totally like JK's animation. (which means I'm gonna make it something between) But I'm also currently a co-animator in RobLego's new series  called The Traveller, and I have some work to do for that.

Plot:
So, this film doesn't really have any big story, it's just a short (weird) story: so there's basically a married couple living outside of the city, and one morning, the husband wakes up and cooks a bird for the breakfast. He wakes up his wife, for the breakfast, and after she tastes the breakfast, she doesn't like it and wants him to cook her something else. And so he does, and she doesn't like it again, so he has to make her something again, and it goes on like for a while. And I still haven't made up the ending, but I'm thinking it could be either something random or something unexpected.   

There is also no dialog in the film but I'm writing the screenplay anyway because I wanna write down all that's gonna be
happening in the film. For the music, I'm thinking some old classical jazz music like most songs in Woody Allen's "Hollywood Ends". I'll put up some pictures, bits of the script, animation sneak peek, sets etc.

Expected Length:

I'm hoping for this film to be long about 3 - 4 minutes, but we'll see how long on the script will go.

Doesn't seem too bad, if you want a comical ending, maybe he cooks a bird again and she loves it? I don't know, just a thought. It would work especially well if the husband had to do a lot of work to get all the other things, getting increasingly harder, and have the bird super easy (maybe at the end, a bird falls on the frying pan or whatever and somehow gets onto her plate while the husband is trying to get/think of something else to cook?). Look forward to the final product! mini/smile

I like the first idea you mentioned. Maybe he could be just really tired and stuff and she would eat the bird, and she would suddenly love it.

Nice concept. I like both parts of kcribfilm's idea, the second part really adds to the irony. I have a suggestion, too: At the very end after she eats the bird, the guy faints. That would show his reaction and be funny at the same time.

Would you like to have vocal effects/vocal foley for the characters? I think they add to a film without dialouge. If so, I could do the man (and possibly the woman, using a falsetto). In case you don't know what vocal effects are; they're grunts, screams, sighs, gasps, and stuff like that.

Not literally dead, just no longer interested in Lego or animation.

Oh yes, I'm definitely Planning on using those. It'd be great if you could do some, if you want to.

Good character design. The lady's eye is a little worn off, though.

Of course I want to do vocal effects!

FILMING HAS BEGUN! Even though I'm actually not finished with the script yet mini/tongue I will be most likely putting a poster up soon, and maybe a piece of the animation.

I thought that this thread is just useless for a short film like this, so if any mod is reading this post, please close this thread. I'm still gonna do the film, though. I'm actually pretty excited about it. But I just thought a thread is a bit useless for such a short film.
