I'm uploading my (late) entry to youtube. Too short. I should have done something more. You'll see it in...25 minutes mini/frustrated.
Edit: Here. Youtube made it 4:3 instead of widescreen like I wanted it (and like the original file was)...

You will probably get an Honorable mention, or if your lucky he will let you be in.

Re: The Animation Challenge

That was quite good, Martin. Though the screen size seriously made it weird, I could't get a lack of what was happening with that screen size mini/XD

Re: The Animation Challenge

Yep, that's why I mentioned that youtube screwed up the image size. Really, the original video was in widescreen. I don't understand how did that happen. I don't think I messed up anything in the editing software.
Thank's for positive feedback though.

P.S.: There's one positive thing about the size though: it's harder to notice the masking errors (and believe me, the masking just looks horrible in my entry).

Re: The Animation Challenge

Good Luck everyone!

Re: The Animation Challenge

Y'know what. I was going to disqualify you, MPFist0,because of the lateness, but it was just so darn awesome, I will be a little lenyant and let you in. I'm still working on the final results, but expect them later tonight (hopefully).

Re: The Animation Challenge

Ok, I think this one might be interesting. If you don't like it tell me, I'll see what else I can think of (well, actually I already though of alternative themes).
New theme is:

Brick Animation
Forget the minifigures. You are free to make anything you want: from separated bricks to big compositions, moving in any way you want. Use your creativity to tell a simple story or to test out a technique, or to just have some fun.
Here's a pretty good example that may help you get some inspiration.

Deadline:
Friday October 28th (that's because I can't judge before that day). Anytime that day you're qualified.

So, you have a week and a half to make this, I hope to see many good entries for this. Good luck. I hope you like this theme.

You may want to change that.

On Topic:
The theme is okay, but I'm still including minifigures.

Re: The Animation Challenge

Re: The Animation Challenge

Ups...wrong month mini/sweat . I fixed it now.
Moyrust, what do you mean by "I'm still including the minifigures"?

Re: The Animation Challenge

It's total matter of opinion. I love animating minifigures, and would like to include them. To me animating bricks, if not done correctly becomes completely boring.
