Nah, you should get all the lines first before you animate, dawg.

I have to agree. You're making things hard on yourself and your actors for no real benefit. It's no fun recording lines to a preexisting animation, and the results are generally kind of terrible. Choose good actors and let them act. I understand the desire to get things done, but it would be worth your wait to let the actors record before you film.
Problem is, I like to improvise. I can't improvise as much if all of the lines are already recorded. ![]()
I know that this method is unusual, but I've found it's results are quite nice.
could i try for the Riddler
Alright. ![]()
I'm wondering why you got someone else to voice Batman. I thought your imitaion of Batman in Mailbox of Doom was pretty good.
I don't suppose any of the characters have dumb voices, do they? I can do any kind of dumb voice. The only other voices I can do are a high-piched nasally alien-like voice and a decent Boris Karkoff imitation.
Oh, I support the animate-then-voice method, as you know. It works for me. (I just wanted to say that there's someone else who suppourts this method, I don't want you to feel that everyone is aginst you.)
I thought you already had an explosion sound effect.

And now, it's even better. ![]()
However, you have not met Doug. His voice is very deep and powerful, kinda like the Phantom of the Opera. I think it will work awesomely for Batman.

Well, I'm glad I'm not alone. xD
I know it's weird to some of you guys, but it really works for me. I like to see my film unfold as I make it. Not to stiffly follow some script. I've been doing this for years, I know what I'm doing. I've found it's end results to be quite excellent. Particularly in How to Not Rob a Bank. And if you don't like recording to animation, you don't have to be part of this.![]()

I'm not quite satisfied with it actually. ![]()
I could try out for one of the characters. I need to decide which one.

I'll send my E-Mail.
You can try about for as many characters as you'd like. And I'd be okay with someone voicing multiple characters, as long as they both don't sound too similar.![]()
Hmm... I have an idea for the explosion sound effect. How about slowing down a balloon popping and adding some brick noise? It's similar to what you did for your gunshot sound effect, and that's like a small explosion.
Hi, ANP! I'd like to audition for Riddler and Alfred, if I may, sir.
I should have some time tonight to record auditions!
Alright, E-Mail sent. ![]()
I have done about 10 different alfred impressions. So I'm up for that.
Can I try for Alfred and The Riddler?
The Riddler has been taken by Darth Vincent Price. ![]()
He has such a perfect crazy laugh. But thanks everyone!
Still need stuff for the other parts. Feel free to audition for as many parts as you wish.
I sent mine
