Someone should ban the use of Kevin's music on this site. SOOO overused.
I agree! Besides, I think people should try looking for fellow brickfilmers for more music (there are plenty of us on here that score) or make the music themselves.

And when I say "ban" i mean... not allow ... no, more like... umm.... they should be frowned upon, like making unoriginal terrible batman or star wars vids, using kevin macleod is bad. Do what olson said.
Okay, i finished animation, and i hope my lighting doesn't turn out like crap.. Does anyone know how to fix light flicker in post-production? 
BTW the animation looks pretty good so far

I agree, and don't agree.
I agree that people shouldn't use the same music from Kevin MacLeod in every single video, but at the same time, not everyone is that skilled at making their own music. I'm not. Also, people might strive to become partners (though that shoudn't be your only goal) and using copywritten material hurts their chances of becoming one. I don't think it should be frowned upon like it is copywritten themes, because it doesn't take too much effort to think of an original idea for a film, like it does on creating a score for a brickfilm. But I do agree that it does get annoying that everyone uses the same music over, and over, and over again.

I agree with dertarchin, maybe not ban though. Anyone should be free to use whatever he wants, but I can't almost watch a movie with a kevin mcleod score anymore now. Chris, I'm not good at writing scores myself either, but as olson suggested we can ask some other brickfilmes in this site to help us.
It shouldn't be banned or frowned upon some people just don't have time to make music... This challenge for example, if someone was making their entry and only had about a day to make/find music. Royalty free music like Kevin's is their only choice. And if you ask a fellow brickfilmer they may not have time to make a full score in a day. I'm not quite sure why this is posted in the animation challenge. This should be an individual post on it's own.
Well, you can always mute right? I dont see why not. Kevin has a lot of music on his site, so you can vary between lots of different tracks. I agree it gets annoying when people uses the same tracks over and over. But if it fits the video, it should be alright. I chose one of his tracks(first time ever) for my entry, and I think it fitted well with the video.
If you dont like the tracks, make some good ones yourself and share them with us.

Here's my entry, not my best but it came out pretty good.
Not sure if this is classifiable as 'cartoon physics' 
but oh well.

Well, this challenge it's not about cartoon animation, it's about cartoon physics: check out wikipedia, there's something about that. Animation is fine btw, but not really related to the challenge.
oh, sorry, i meant to wright physics. I have a cold so i'm pretty out of it..

I think I won't be able to enter. I've got some picutre quality problems. Even if I did make something, I wouldn't have time to mask it. The only animation time I have is on the weekend, and I haven't started yet. The time I have left is after dinner tonight, so I don't have a lot of time.
