Underworld - Rise of the Lycans
This movie is pretty sturdy in terms of storyline. It's the typically anti-dictatorship revolt plot. Evil man or group controls the rest, and someone decides that it's time. Wait, am I talking about BraveHeart? Anyways, the FX are actually quite good. There were puppets in this movie! Not all CG for the were wolfs. Huzzah! The only downfall for this movie is two things:
1. The blood effects are a little to "watery."
2. The movie seemed too dark at certain points.
Otherwise, it's a great move. 4/5
Milk
I loved it. It's so well-paced, entertaining, moving, and very nicely acted (though I still think Mickey Rourke should win the Oscar).
I've read some reviewers say that it should have won Best Film.

I'm waiting until I've seen Slumdog, but right now I really think it should have. The storytelling is extraordinary; there are so many characters and small events, and all of them work their way into the story and form a whole that really feels alive.
Casino Royale
Great a second time. Daniel Craig is a pretty actor, in my opinion.
The chase scene in the beginning is probably the greatest I've seen. Great stunts.
A good James Bond movie.
The Hustler
Oh man, what a wonderfully, dark, depressing 50's movie that made you feel sick after it watching all the drinking and smoking. But seriously though, this movie had great acting in it all the way through. Paul Newman was so great, Jackie Gleason was also better than I expected he would be in it too. I forget his name but, the guy who played the slimeball businessman also did a great job portraying a slimeball businessman. This movie really concentrated more on the acting than anything else, very simple camera work, very simple editing. Another great thing about this movie though that I noticed was, if someone died in the movie, they didn't show them die in a brutal way like in movies now, in fact they didn't show them die at all, you got a depressing feeling that something was terribly wrong and you knew the person was dead, and they didn't have to show you a thing. This film had ingenious film making and acting. I would have liked this film even more if there wasn't so much drinking and smoking. Jeez, I had to have something healthy after that, I felt terrible. ![]()
But anyway, I'm off to see "The Color of Money". ![]()
Bad Taste
Second time 'round is just as great. Definitely one of my top ten favourite movies.
I'm glad I got the DVD for 50 cents! ![]()

Coraline
Absolutely amazing. Great visuals, smooth and long moving camera shots. Wow. The only thing I didn't like about it was it didn't stay to the book. The search for souls would have been even more amazing, but I did enjoy the new character, Wybie. He made the starting of the film more exciting. Visuals were wonderful. I'm disappointed that I didn't see it in 3D. ![]()
Seven. Awesome movie.
Coraline (3-D)
I saw it last saturday, the last day it was in 3-D, and you can absolutely not watch it on a normal screen. it was amazing, the stop motion, the visuals, the music, everything. It was amazing.
...SE7EN....
fixed.

The Dark Knight
This movie is so epic that I can't stop watching it. lol.:D
Click
Pretty funny movie.
It was so sad when he was lying on the ground in the rain and he gave his wife the note that said "Will you still love me in the morning?" and she said "Forever and ever, babe".
But then it got happy again when he woke up on the bed in Bed, Bath and Beyond.
Sex and the City
Good ![]()
Chinatown
Excellent, excellent movie. There are so many good things about it, and they work so well in conjuncture with each other that it's hard to highlight any particular aspect of the film that stood out.
A Bug's Life
It doesn't need a review. However, the way that Pixar does that "thing" with the eyelids, where one closes half a second after the other, really bugs me.
Was the pun intended?
Sister Act 2
Yeah, its only just started, but I've seen it LOADS of times before.
Whoopi Goldberg + Nun School + Music = One weird but enjoyable movie.
If only the ending was like our musical preformance last night.....

Futurama: Bender's Game
Wauw, this was the weakest Futurama film so far
The first one was really good, second one was pretty meh but this one...
I expected more from this, the first 20 min were just going nowhere.
And if the story started, it was boring... so boring.
The only good thing I found in this movie was the detailed jokes, that's all
overall I hope the last film will be much better.

Toy Story
Truly one of my favoriet films from my youth
it was hilariusly funny, smartly written and it was Pixar.
The only buggy thing was for the short time of this movie (1 hour and 17 min)
but overall one of pixar's finnest.

El Mariachi
A low budget film by the brilliant Robert Rodriguez
This film was pretty good for a 7500 dollar budget.
Although not a very memorable film.
