Today was my first day of school. Extremely nervous for the rest of the school year, i'm in 8th grade and i'm taking:
Social Studies
English
Algebra (Honors)
Earth Science (Honors)
Studio in Art (Honors)
French
Spanish
Earth Science Lab (Honors)
Health/Technology
I'm returning to College (the UK kind of College - not the US kind of College) tomorrow. Am continuing my A-Levels in Film Studies, Media Studies, English Literature, and Drama & Theatre Studies. I personally enjoyed being at home writing reviews and stuff - so going back into education when I feel like I'm already out of it will feel a little weird.
I'm also scripting some video reviews - which I hope to film in October. So far I've fully scripted a review of the Stone Angels 2-Partermfrom Doctor Who Series 5 (it was very cathartic), and I'm almost done scripting a review for Scooby Doo: The Movie which I was very fond of in my childhood - and whilst has some very painful moments isnt quite as bad as everyone says it is. I also intend to script reviews for The Bride of Frankenstien, District 9, Eragon, and AVATAR (the latter I especially look forward to) soon. My planned review show is for movies which I personally think are either better or worse than the public opinion assumes.
Got out of the hospital today. I feel great! Which means *drumroll*, time to animate!
Uh... dad found an occult-looking trident buried in the front yard today. Gotta be a good sign.
Also, new avvy. Gotta love The Sexy Stud.
Well it's 9/11 for me over here. R.I.P to all who died in the attacks on this day 10 years ago.
I assume posting will be frozen between 8:46 AM and 10:28 AM EST, just like last year.
So that'll be about 1:46 here in the UK... I can't rightly remember. I just hope nothing happens for the memorial services today.
I just switched from Firefox to Google Chrome, and oh my Jesus it's so much better. I am surprised I didn't try it out earlier.
Just a week until Talk Like a Pirate Day. ![]()
One of my favorite holidays. ![]()

Today I was helping an elderly man tie his boat back to his dock after it floated away. I jumped in to push the boat over and realized afterwards that my iPhone was in my pocket. Now it won't turn on. FFUUUUUUUUUU
Moral: Don't be nice to elderly people.

This may work: 1. Take the battery out. 2. If it was in salt water or really dirty water - rinse it with distilled water. 3. Put it on an air vent (moving air) for at least a week before trying to turn it on again (I have also heard that putting it in a bowl of uncooked rice helps get rid of the water). 4. Hope for the best!
Good luck! This worked for Mr. Brick7 except that he tried turning it on before the full "wait" time and burned out part of his screen.
I can vouch for the rice trick. It got my younger brother's cell phone to operate once more.
Hello everyone. I completely disappeared from BiM for a good few months (maybe a year, I'm not too sure) for a number of reasons, mainly not having enough time, and I also had my Junior Certificate exams last June, they're sorta important. Anyway, I'm back, and I intend on at least commenting on a few films and basically contributing in some way.
Anyway, got my Junior Cert results on the 14th and I was really happy with them. 5 As, 4 Bs and a C. The C was in Irish, and I'm not too bothered about that. I got an A in Maths though, really delighted with it
