Topic: Cost of Brick films...

ok, so, nothing to say much other then how much your brick films have cost

this one
http://www.bricksinmotion.com/forums/to … nimations/ has cost over $1200 AUD.

Re: Cost of Brick films...

about all my cost is my time. I don't know about electricity since my lamps and computer isn't the only thing on in the house.

Re: Cost of Brick films...

that's cheep...

Re: Cost of Brick films...

That's because he made it with stuff he already had. To hear that you've bought 1,200 AUD (that's 1,280.06 USD for those in the USA) worth of stuff is pretty incredible. You must be very dedicated to your brickfilm.

Re: Cost of Brick films...

some of it I brought a while ago... like Animator HD, Premeire and that but the Canon EOS Kiss x4 and the 10218 pet shop.. and all that where new... and yes, I am REALLY dedicated to this film...

Re: Cost of Brick films...

I've only spent a total of $110 USD on brickfilms

Re: Cost of Brick films...

I brought about £20 of bricks for Marooned. That was for the boulder and cliffs mostly, the rest I all had. That is the only film to date which I've had to spend a little on, but it was worth it! mini/wink

Re: Cost of Brick films...

For my Brawl entry I spent more or less 13 euros, to buy two green baselates.

Re: Cost of Brick films...

Most of the money I've put into brickfilming was in software.

Re: Cost of Brick films...

I never spend money on Brickfilms. I only reuse previous material. My T2i was bought for the purpose of photography, and is being used for some brickfilms as an additional use.

I'll be back animating soon! Exams and computer faults are keeping me away </3

Re: Cost of Brick films...

I only spend money on brickfilms when it comes to Bricklink/Brickarms.

Re: Cost of Brick films...

I recently went to the lego store and got about $10 worth of light blue bricks for a set I made but other than that, all my equipment is things I already have.

Re: Cost of Brick films...

I never even bought software or a webcam.

Maybe he in implying that he was gifted his gear.
It's not an uncommon occurrence, so I'm told.

Re: Cost of Brick films...

I don't think I've ever spent anything on a particular brickfilm, but I have spent a couple hundred US dollars on software, webcams, etc.

I feel like this thread was just an excuse for the creator to repeat the sum he's spent in the hopes of impressing people. mini/blankexpression

Re: Cost of Brick films...

Software and hardware are all the money I've spent.
