Topic: Boot Camp Questions

I recently purchased a Windows 7 Home Preimum system builder disk so I could run boot camp on my MacBook Pro.  I started to use it and relized it was pretty poor.  The resolution was squashed, the theme wasn't right, and the task bar was out of order.  This and a few other thing made me make this list of questions that I would like to ask.

  • How do I connect to the internet?  The Mac built in router doesn't seem to be found by windows?

  • How do I fix the poor resolution?

  • How do I get the proper Aero Theme?

  • What advantages does having parallels give you?

MacBook Pro 13" i7 Processor.

I'm going to add to the question as I go but can you help me with these first few?

In the control panel there's a resolution control.

>How do I get the proper Aero Theme?
Install graphics drivers then turn Aero on.

Re: Boot Camp Questions

Thanks that solved most of my problems TDogg!  Now, does anyone use Parallels?  I'm thinking of buying it, it is simple to use, and does it work while making stop motion?

Jeez, do we have to dabble in this Mac vs. PC nonsense again?

Does posting that help this thread, no.  So pipe down before you make more useless posts.

Re: Boot Camp Questions

And Binding Brick, I have Parallels. It works fine, but I have no clue if it's good for animation purposes because I use a laptop for stop-mo.
