Yes, that is true now that I think about it. Also, some cases come with fans built in.

Those are case fans. You need a separate fan - called a heatsink - for your CPU.

Whats the difference?

Case fans aree for your case, to cool down the whole thing, Heatsinks are to keep your CPU cool, all CPUs need one.

Kay. Here's a powerful computer I was considering. http://www.walmart.com/ip/HP-BV542AA-AB … u=15701581

Re: Computer recommendation

How about the Z800?
It's a litle overpriced, but Andrew Kramer uses one.

Both are overpriced, just build it yourself.

A bit overpriced. The 6770 isn't really worth it when you're in that price range.

I wouldn't recommend buying an HP computer, considering they are going to stop making computers.

If you want me to, Mr. Rundown, I could build you a PC on the net (find the parts etc). Just tell me! :-)

My old YouTube is since long ago defunct - now even removed.
Here is my new one.

A lot of times building a computer yourself is more expensive. If you wait for a deal from a company you can save a lot of money. Companies that make computers buy parts and HUGE bulk and get a discount for buying so many. Then they pass some of that savings down to you.

I don't think HP is going to be building many more computers.

Re: Computer recommendation

Yeah. Also did i read that the Z800 excepts 192 gbs of RAM? Thats overkill!

I'ved really only ever heavily used custom, acer and HP computers aand I dfon't like ACER that much so I guess I'll be livin on customs which I don't mind. Also, computer part stores typically buy in bulk also I'm guessing and you dont have to pay for assembly charges and you can make however you like
