Re: What was the last movie you watched?
Tourist Trap
I saw the twist coming but still a pretty cool horror film.

Trust
This film makes me lose faith in teenage girls. That 14 year old girl must be so stupid to fall in love with a pedophile, and only admit he was a pedophile when he had other 'victims.' And that ending, jeez. I recommend watching this movie if you don't mind getting angry at the characters on-screen.
Trust
I agree with Kinz. It really was a great movie, but darn, this girl is so stupid at times.
I didn't like the ending, but I actually think it worked in its favor.

To us, the girl is stupid, but she was in love with this person, he gave her attention like nobody else and these predators are very convincing, they know how to trick these girls.
And the ending is good, it's clear what they mean.

Of course I know that she actually has feelings for him, still, you think she'd realize what he's after. That's just what I think.
About the ending, I didn't really think through what I wrote. What I meant is that, in a way, you'd want to know if they caught the bad guy or not, and that's why I said I didn't like it. I still do like it, and I think it worked in its favor, as I guess it's more of a drama about the family after the rape and so on, so the lack of a followup of the FBI case worked out nice.
I liked the ending, I did, but I'm torn, you know. I still want to know what happened to "Charlie", lol.
The Prowler
Pretty cool slasher film. I guess I'm just in the mood lately.
Clue
Made in 1985.
Has three endings.
Is the only game adaption, board or videogame, that is actually really good.

I like it that you don't know what happened to him, since basically the message is he's still at large, and will do this again and again, and that's the case with most of these online predators.
2001: A Space Odyssey
Lives up to all the good stuff I've heard about it. On my top ten favorite movies for sure.
The Secret of Nimh
Pretty dang awesome. Sucks that Don Bluth couldn't keep this kind of quality of story for all of his films.
Rock-A-Doodle
... What. Animation was fantastic, but what?
Spy Kids
Not as good as I remember, but it's still good for a kid's movie.
Jetsons: The Movie
Awful.
Yay for Netflix.
Airplane! (1980)
Total Recall
One of the greatest sci-fi movies ever made, right up there with Blade Runner, which coincidentally was directed by the same director. The special effects in this out of this world, everything was top-notch. But even with all the special effects and action, it still had such an incredible story! Very plot twisty. Score was great too.
It's such a classic. This is something everyone should see if they're into movies at all.
5/5

Total Recall is by Paul Verhoeven, not Ridley Scott.

I said I was judging what I saw. I saw about half of it.
Half the movie is more than "I didn't see a lot of it", and it's still not judgable, unless you have some points to make.
I said I was judging what I saw. End of discussion.

Oh, my bad. Weird, I think I got Robocop and Blade Runner mixed up. He did Robocop. Don't know how I got it mixed up.
EDIT: OOOOHHHH, I got it mixed up because the same guy who wrote Total Recall wrote Blade Runner. Whoever that is, must be a frikken genius.

He also wrote the Adjustment Bureau, though
But most people seem to think that's a good movie...
Prom Night
Eh. I heard it was really good slasher but I thought it was a little disappointing, to be honest.

Total Recall
Good scifi, awesome effects. It'd be funny if Arnie had said in the scene where they ask his sexual prefferences "Really fat chicks."
I dind't like Total Recall that much. And only half way through the special effects started to look interesting (the cars, btw, looked like they were done with cardboard). I've seen the first half and the second half in two different occasions, though, so I might not have appreciated the film completely because of that, and I think I have missed a few minutes.

I really hated the film a few years ago, I rewatched it now and thought it was a good scifi. Though I'm not as enthusiastic about it as Filmyguy.
