Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

I really liked that, mintyfreshCOJO. I expessially liked how the walls were made with only 1x2 bricks.

My old YouTube is since long ago defunct - now even removed.
Here is my new one.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

These recent frames do not show the theme very well IMO. What does disobedience have to do with a person sitting in a chair? Is the chair an electric one? If it is an electric chair then I could see the frame having to do with disobedience.

EDIT: I can see MM's use of disobedience now and I like it. The frame looks cluttered though, because it is so small.

Um, from what I see it looks like a Schoolboy facing the wall for being dumb in class or something (I think that cone on his head should be a bit smaller, MM mini/wink ).
Btw, Widescreen shots are preferred, MMproductions. Your shot is a little squished so you can't really see what's going on.

If you break the law, you are being disobedient.

I think MFcojo's frame fits the theme perfectly in my opinion. The man being in the chair to be electrocuted has disobeyed the law.
And I think MMproductions made an ok frame aswell, although it's kind of hard to see what's going on at first.
Timothy's is good, the humor is well received and goes well with the theme.
My opinion. mini/smile

I didn't even know in cojo's that that chair was electric, but thank you for clearing that up. I now know what the frame has to do with the theme.

...I don't get it. How does that portray disobedience?

Can Someone change the title so it says: the theme and the deadline, i think it might come in handy.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

Look, everyone. As long as you're directly portraying an act of disobedience, you shouldn't have to worry about "showing the theme"; I mean, how are you expecting to show disobedience as a concept by itself without making something that looks ridiculously obvious? This is about cinematography.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

Night Owl, i made a frame all about cinematography, and the only thing they can say is ''mehh it doesn't show the theme.'' That makes me mini/madhead

Look in the background. Its blurry, but thats cinematography. The aliens are facing what, a crowd of humans with their hands up. Ad the foreground? This one alien is giving a present to a human.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

It still makes no sense. I can't see people with hands up. It's out of focus.

Yes, but I still don't see how you're portraying disobedience.
