Dont get the 960, get the 2500k or 2600k, they are more powerful and cheaper. Also, ATI was purchased by AMD. They are now called AMD Radeons. http://www.amd.com/us/products/desktop/ … -6000.aspx As for fan you mean CPU Heatsink, I recommend the CM Hyper 212+.

You will need an 1155 socket, you can just change the motherboard you are saving up for. Unless that is your current motherboard.

But that motherboard was the only one I can find that has over 20 gbs of RAM

You don't need more than 12GB at the MOST. anything over is overkill. even 12gb is overkill. 8GB is good for video and photo editing, 4GB is standard.

Adobe.com says if you'll gonna be using multiple programs in a loop (Audition to Premiere, Premiere to After Effects) then you'll need 16.

You won't need anymore than that. 48GB is what servers use, and it'll cost a fortune.

Yeah, basically I just want bragging rights. Anyways we're getting off topic so lets get back on track. Are you looking to get After Effects for your computer, 16 gbs of RAM will be all basically you'll take advantage of. Also, if you get a 32 bit operating system, you can only use 4 gb of ram, if you have a 64 bit you can use all the RAM in your system

Anyways, as said above, get a 64-bit OS anyway. even if you have only 4gb RAM. (That includes VRAM also, which on your GPU)

And when I say wicked fast, did I mention it can run SPORE: Galactic Adventures on high graphics with about 2,000 duplicates of large, complex vehicles all firing their missiles? WITHOUT LAGGING!? mini/eek

I've heard many horror stroies about them. It would be cheaper to build one yourself. That forum I lniked to earlier is very helpful.

Not true, CPUs come with a fan when you buy them. It should keep it at an alright temp, unless you overclock.

Some fans are bundled with the proccessors, but if you're looking to overclock the processor or have a quiet computer I say buy a custom one.

Those are case fans. You need a separate fan - called a heatsink - for your CPU.
