Cool. Btw, how much did it cost? It costs a lot in Norway. 899,50 Norwegian Kroner(Norwegian Currency) here. (1 American Dollar is about 5,6 Norwegian Kroner) mini/smile

I need a new name! HELP

Re: I'm looking for a good camera

I am sorry, but these "Is this a good camera" and "I'm looking for a webcam" and "Camera question" posts are getting old. It's not that hard to research first. Here are the most useful things to see if you camera is any good, or if you're looking for a camera, which ones might be good.
1)Do any brickfilmers use them? Message them about it if only a few do.
2) Has it got a good brickfilming reputation like the QK4000 and 9000?
3)Manual settings? If it has them, great! If not, keep looking, it won't work for stop-motion.
Before you make another "is this camera any good" post please, for the love of all things good, please read this post. It is the very first post in the Software and Hardware forum.
Thank you.

I got it for $60 - $75 USD, I think.

I can't remember exactly, mini/tongue though I got it at Best Buy if that helps.

A budget of $100-$150 on Macintosh...well you're screwed. You need a larger budget.

I would have a larger budget if I didn't buy a Macintosh.  I'm pretty sure you can find a good camera around that zone.

You can not get a camera that will connect to your mac and the software to record images for under $150. You could find a nice camera for under $150 but none will be really good for brickfilming.

Re: I'm looking for a good camera

Okay, I'm looking at Canon DLSR's.  This is my first time shopping cameras so I need a bit of advise.

The logitech webcam pro 9000 will shoot in HD video and HD pictures but you have to connect it to your computer.

Well I'm hoping to get away from the Webcam Pro 9000 just because I'm in a video production club and the video is blury and also because the new webcam doesn't have white balance.

Accually, the 9000 DOES have white balance. But if you want a great webcam, I would reccomend the Logitech C910. That's just my opinion. mini/tongue

Re: I'm looking for a good camera

Most of the veteran Brickfilmers here use Quickcam 9000 (ref: Buxton, KG) and thier films come out superb.

I'd go with that.
