Topic: "RACE" update thread!

Hey guys! this is the update thread for my upcoming film "RACE".
"RACE" is going to be in the style of a Need For Speed game, with lots and lots of action. So expect to see lots of crashes and insane stunts throughout the film. I will be animating at 15fps and 30fps.

Please note that I am still in the process of preparing for this film so don't expect it to come out any time soon!

I will give you further updates every week.

looks pretty cool, i am wondering how you are going to animate a car race with a lot of action.. is it just a race with crashing, bumping, driving off cliffs, etc.? or does it have more of a plot? i'm interested to see how this turns out..

Looks interesting, but I have to repeat MrLegoProductions' question: does it have a plot, or is it just a short full of cool effects?

And I like your poster also, but I seriously don't suggest putting the comments on there though. To me it just takes away from the film, because obviously in an update thread means it's not been released on no one could have actually commented. Just, too me, ruins a poster.

Well I was thinking about that very same thing, because I know a lot of the NFS games have stories. I'm kind of leaning towards doing this film without a plot.

Well I'm going to have to choreograph all the crashes, jumps explosions etc, etc......before I actually animate them to figure out what I'm going to be animating.

What are you going to do for explosions?

it would be awesome if you did in shot bricksplosions (such as I did in my latest film).

I agree with ANP for the explosions, and personally I think you get rid of the "false comments" on the poster, that's just lame. If this is executed well then it could be cool, but hopefully you will put enough thought and effort into it to make it successful.
