But alot of people already knows she was executed with her husband by the guillotine so yeah...they could just look in a history textbook for spoilers.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

-BUMP!-

Push

Movie critics are nothing but grumpy old men who are both biased and are only interested in one genre: Drama.

Not all good films have to be set within an over-the-top enviroment, and with every shot containing some kind of disorentating movement, plus containing a script more longer and harder to read than a Lord of the Rings novel.

Dont belevie me, take a look at proffessional reveiws for 'Mamma Mia', 'Shopaholic' (which I dont like, but every female who has watched it loves) and this movie - which is, in my opinion, enjoyable.

Like 'The Dark Knight', I walked into this movie with no expectations. I didnt even know what it was going to be, I just decided to watch this movie instead of 'The Pink Panther 2', which was fully booked (I should listen to those Movietickets.co.uk adverts). I was thouroughly surprised. Whilst the concept of a group of people with super-powers in Hong-Kong seems almost laughable, its surprisingly realistic.

The only thing I agree on with the critics is that certain aspects of the movie could have been explored more, but what we got was still very entertaining.
The only other thing that annoyed me was the obvious cliffhanger ending, and that because the critics have been a bunch of snooty old Shakespeare-Loving farts it is likely that there will be no sequel. They should have just had a voiceover man saying:

"What will happen next? Will Nick manage to save mankind from the bad guys, or will the scary bald guy who looks like Samuel Jackson but is not kill that annoying shreiking girl from 'War of the Worlds' mother? Tune in next time to find out!"

Another thing that annoys me is that, like Indiana Jones 4 and Star Wars Episode 3, this movie has 'stolen' an idea that I had LONG before it was made!
Its not the movies fault, but it means that when I present this Idea, I'm gonna get accused of being a copy-cat. I hate it when movies do this. I know I'm a child who has never had any contact with the film industry, and has no rights over these multi-millionare filmmakers, but it ticks me off to say the least.

The Graduate

It was definitely an entertaining film, and was very well put together. Solid acting and writing, Anne Bancroft being the highlight. The scenes between her and Dustin Hoffman were hilariously awkward.

Simon & Garfunkel must have made a fortune off this movie.

Wauw, this film was really visually amazing.

Milk

I loved it. It's so well-paced, entertaining, moving, and very nicely acted (though I still think Mickey Rourke should win the Oscar).

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

Mhahaha, I got to see it before it went out of theaters. Just got back from it.
What an amazing film. I would right a huge review of it but I'm lazy. I will say though I think it should win for Best Make-up, Cinematography and possibly even Best Screenplay. Though it was a bit slow, I think it was well paced. And when you think of it, how can you make that film any less slow? It's a life time. A life time is slow.
The Make-up was very good too, I think the young-age make-up was the best.
The Cinematography was also awesome to look at, all the details of the lighting and the shots were very well executed.
My review. Great film, a classic.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

The most common complaint about that film I've heard is that there's not much substance to it behind the visuals.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Critics like visuals....

No, Max, I've actually heard that complaint from critics more than anywhere else.

Little kids, lol... It's High School Musical... mini/lol
I mean, I saw a 6 year old at church one time, who looked at a high school music cd, and she said: "OMYGOSH!!1! HIGH SCOOL MOOSICAL!!!" And then she pointed at it, and told her friend.
