I just started using my Logitech C910 today on my Mac, and for some reason, when I was about to take a photo, it looked amazing. (Perfectly focused, clear, etc.)
However, when I put the photos into iStopmotion and viewed it, it had lighting issues (which I know was caused by natural light on my set) and the focusing was awful. The photos were extremely blurry. Please explain the reason as to why my film was so blurry?
Do you have auto focus on? If so, turn it to manual. If you have any other settings on auto, turn them to manual too.

I looked in settings and preference, but I couldn't find the options to turn on manual autofocus/ things like that.

I took the pictures in my Logitech Webcam Software. Then I imported the pictures into iStopmotion.
Also, if I filmed with Logitech Webcam in 1080p, would NTSC Widdesreen be the best choice in iStopmotion?

Hmmm... I have the same camera and that doesn't happen... open up the logitech software and fiddle with the settings

Click on "Webcam Options" under the controls. Uncheck the boxes that say Rightlight and Autofocus.
Under the focus slider bar, click on "Advanced Settings". Uncheck any boxes to the right of the slider bars that say Auto.

Thanks for the advice, but I just checked the Logitech Webcam Software, and there were no autofocus setting switches/choices in the preferences or in the controls. I don't see a settings button. Should I be using Logitech Webcam Software, or the program called "Logitech"?

Use Monkeyjam. Open it up, and set the capture type to your webcam. After you've set it, a Webcam Controller should appear.

Where is "Webcam Options"?
To the right of the viewscreen, there is a box headed "Controls". It should have zoom and pan controls. Webcam Options is right under that.
open logitech webcam software, click quick capture, on the side there should be a check box for right light... uncheck that, underneath that there should be a checkbox and a slider for focus... uncheck that, click advanced setting on the bottom... mess with those settings... uncheck auto stuff, then exit out of that window... then click prefferences up at the top, go to general tab and press auto start

Yes, it is compatible. But no, you can not mess with the advanced settings while using it on a mac making it useless for animation.
