Re: BiM 2011: TOY RESULTS!

Wow. I'm shocked.

I'm so honoured. I've never won anything this big. I'm tingling with excitement as I write this. I can't believe it, thank you very very much everyone. This has made my year!

I also want to say a massive well done to builders brothers and Timothy R. Timothy's film didn't really get much recognition, so I'm glad it won, and builders brothers did a fantastic job too.
My prize will help me to improve my animation too, also with my school stuff next year.

Again, thanks so so much. Thank you so much to all the judges too, judging all of those must have taken a while!

And cheers to ANP, for just generally being helpful while I was making this. I'm so excited. mini/delirium

You're welcome. mini/smile

Glad you won, definitely the best. I'm a bit sad that Possessed didn't get there. Oh well.

Well deserved, Filmfire. You had a tremendous entry. I must go and catch up with all the entries, by a matter of fact.

Wow, we're honored to have finished in the top 20 this year. Congratulations to the winners!

EDIT: Though I do have one question; why is our presentation a 3? Is it because it was unfinished? Sorry to seem as if I'm begging, just asking.

Re: BiM 2011: TOY RESULTS!

Congratulations to the winners!

With going up against guys like Filmfire, Builder brothers and NXTManiac, I think I did pretty good.
And I'm really happy that I got in the top ten, after all this is my first contest.
But y'all had better watch out next year!

I chose Package 1. The program will really help me with my future brickfilms, and I'll also use it for my school work too. It was definitely the best one for me, its the one I've really wanted since this was announced.

Again, its an honour to win, so thank you. Although I thought Noodle was going to be a judge. 3 seems like a better number to me anyway. I can't wait to try the program out when it arrives. Well done Sméagol for organising and running another great contest.

That was a great contest, too bad that I could not participate... mini/sad

Re: BiM 2011: TOY RESULTS!

Welcome! Can't wait to see your next film with Dragon! What are you doing at school to help you in animation?

Re: BiM 2011: TOY RESULTS!

Congratulations to the winners and a sincere thank you to all entrants for their participation!

Re: BiM 2011: TOY RESULTS!

Wow! Top 5 - I couldn't ask for much better than that!

Congratulations to the winners and to all the entrants for that matter. It's one thing to simply SAY you are going to enter a contest but it's another thing to actually follow through and make a video and enter - well done to all.

Thanks to the contest host, judges, sponsors, other entrants and everyone who watched my video.

I really enjoyed this contest and making my entry - it was a fun break from the usual crap I make.

Re: BiM 2011: TOY RESULTS!

Just got back from checking out my text books and schedule for school. Being around the moronic students made me depressed and I can tell it won't be a good school year. But at least I placed second in TOY. mini/tongue

Forgot to specifically congratulate Filmfire for his success with Marooned! It was very enjoyable, and I anxiously anticipate what you'll pull off with Dragon Stop-Motion. Also, quick question; have you ever played the Monkey Island games, Filmfire? Marooned reminded me of them, which is the reason why I love your movie so much.

And well done Builder Brothers! You guys retold a fun story that worked very well in LEGO. It certainly amused me. Nice work. mini/smile

I myself will be practicing and working on sound design with the Blue Snowball for my Monkey Island brickfilm. I've always wanted to a do a pirate movie, but after Marooned... I guess you could say Filmfire motivated me to go on with it. mini/tongue

Neither can I! Thanks.

What are you doing at school to help you in animation?

When school starts again I'm doing my exam/coursework (my GCSE) in art, and my piece for that is going to be some kind of animation (probably paper or plasticene). I now want to save up for a DSLR to use it with.

I've never played any monkey island games. In fact the only thing I've ever watched/seen/read about pirates is mainly Peter Pan and PotC.
I'm really glad you liked it. I also really liked your film, and BuildersBrothers definitely deserved to be in the top 3. I'm still just coming to grips with the fact I won! mini/delirium

Re: BiM 2011: TOY RESULTS!

Congrats Filmfire, and the other winners also. I quite enjoyed all your films.
