I don't think it'd get me as much a day as my job does, on average, $20 a day. that is good for a brick-film budget. its near $170 a week.
no more on topic, I take it for them not only do you need to have a lot of views but also allow adds. is that right?

It seems like they are being very generous with the partner program nowadays.
The monetization programs is different from the partner program. You don't get all of the fancy features, you just make some money.
I wanna make some backgrounds....

Yeah everyone is getting because youtube sees the potential of putting ads on every single video. Im surprised it hasnt happened sooner.
If I got it I would say NO.
Youtube has turned into a totalitarian wasteland of trashy videos and I wouldn't want to annoy people with advertisements.
I think I shall switch to Vimeo sometime.

I think those are for partners only, monetization isn't the same as the patner program.

Nothing wrong in being rewarded for their hard efforts. The money could be used to make bigger and better brickfilms

I would perfer not to annoy viewers with ads. I've heard it's a measly amount of money that you get.
Besides, the only thing you would have to buy to make a film is parts. Anyone who already has a decently sized Lego collection doesn't need more parts.

Yeah, it's good to earn some bucks for your films. It also lasts forever.
I am pleased to say that today is my 1 year anniversary of joining YOUTUBE!
I have 339 subscribers and a little over 28,000 total views. Thanks to everyone who has watched my videos, I am looking forward to another great year!
I barely see adds anymore.
I now have 800 subscribers!

On my old channel (kitfisto101) It was my 3 year anivirsary with 147(lol) subbers and over 30K video views.
Weird.
Does anybody else always have "Fright Night Trailer" in related videos?
