Does anyone know what the highest fullscreen resolution is for the Logitech Webcam Pro 9000? I got the new version of Stop Motion Pro installed, so now my resolution is limited to the webcam. I want to film in fullscreen because I think that fullscreen has a more comedic feel and widescreen has a more cinematic feel. I also want the best quality I can get out of my webcam.
I think it's 1600x1200. But why would you want to film in fullscreen anyway? Have you ever seen a comedy on TV that was in 4:3?
Yes, I think it's 1600x1200, but I don't bother. I use 800x600 and it's not bad...

Why 800x600 over 1600x1200...? 
Because of my slow computer, it takes ages to take a photo at 1600x1200. (It's annoying, but I'll animate at that when I get a new computer soon)

I have the same problem, my C910 can take AMAZINGLY high resolution stills, sadly my old Dell is NOT up to the task.
It's 1600x1200 in stop motion programs. Although if you use the Logitech Webcam Software(that came with your webcam) for frame capture, you can take pictures with the res of 3264x2448! Then you can crop it to widescreen if you want to later. It only does that in your Logitech webcam software. The disadvantage to that is that you can't use all of the features in Stopmotion Pro.

I know, but TV likes to do widescreen for some reason. I want to film in fullscreen because I don't like widescreen that much. I don't like how widescreen has the black bars on the bottom. Fullscreen is easier to see because the bars are on the side. The bars are easier to ignore when they're on the sides.

It's because it's easier on the viewer's eyes. See my response below.

They're actually MUCH more noticeable. I use to select my films in fullscreen because that by using widescreen, I was missing action where the black bars are. As it turns out, the opposite is true, and there's actually stuff that you'd see in widescreen on the sides that would be partially or even entirely cut off in fullscreen mode.
I don't like bars on the side.

Oh, I have HDTV. It's just that the channel I watch most often isn't in HD.
Besides, my parents got an HD TV only a few years ago.
I guess I'm just used to fullscreen. I've had it for most of my life (so far).
I shoot at 1280 by 720.
Minifig, for up-to-date hardware 16:9 IS full-screen, NOT 4:3.
4:3 devices aren't even for sale anymore. And check out the Youtube player - 16:9 also.

Actually, 4:3 cameras are for sale. My mom got one on black friday in 2010. And full screen is 4:3. And you have to have 16:9 to do hd anyway. 
So you sort of have to do 16:9 unless you don't want hd.

Ah yes, you're right. Cameras and stuff do have 4:3 screens. On the other hand, though, nobody watches brickfilms on a camera.

I don't have an HDTV, yet I manage to avoid thinking of myself as poor or deprived.
