That's the system currently in place.
Look guys, let's not try to reinvent the wheel here, is it really that much extra effort to ask a mod to create a poll?
Now seriously, I have an idea: why don't handle polls like it's done on Eurobricks? People above a certain amount of posts will be able to create polls. On eurobricks, I think you need to have 500 posts I think (then you're a "Knight" on the site) to earn the feature.
If we had a system like that, it would be better if people above a certain reputation will be able to create polls. But I'm not sure how well that would work.
But I think what we have now is fine, and I don't really see a point in making a new system.

Dude,that's your poll,and that poll has nothing to do with those little bricks we all love.
You didn't get the sarcasm in his post...It was an example. What he wanted to say is that people would start abusing the poll feature and make pointless ones.
