Also, I find it amusing how all you guys complain about abusing the system, when you guys do it also. Don't dish it out if you can't handle the gift in return. Okay?
EDIT: Downvoting this post? Exactly what i'm talking about. There's nothing wrong with it, but when i'm debating something and you're on the opposing side, you just whine and downvote.

Just go along with the system and stop complaining and acting like total idiots to the staff. If the staff feels that it's time to take the reputation system away, they will. Your nagging and complaining will not help their decision at ALL.

Also, I'm starting to really hate this site because of how mean and idiotic most of the community is. I really wish you all would just be nice to each other and stop being total turds.

However, I haven't really noticed any dramatic change in people's attitude since the installation of the Rep meter.
That may just be my lack of perception, though.

We, yes, if your reading this that means you too (if you've been complaining/arguing), have been turds. If you like the system, you like it, if you don't, you don't, now isn't that simple? Complaining WILL NOT get it your way, same thing as the community forum take-away. Now, like KinzCove said, can we get along?

If I were to propose one change to the system, it would be restricting voting abilities to those who've been members for six months or longer. That being said, considering how things have gone thus far, such a change might be more trouble than it's worth.

Yeah I don't mean to sound angry that people complained or anything, it just seemed like a lot of people were either abusing the system or unhappy about it in general.

In my opinion, the rep system was a good idea, it just needs some work.
Like, maybe only using it to determine whether a user's post was helpful/unhelpful but not affecting their actual reputation?

A Like/Dislike button seems like a better idea.
I'm happier now that the system has gone. I didn't really like it, so I just tried to ignored it, but it was hard to ignore when a post was pointlessly downvoted or upvoted.
Well,i'm actually kind of happy now that the rep meter is gone,because i was getting tired having the lowest reputation on the site-i was about to go to -70.I'm glad it's gone.
