Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Duck Soup
This is the sixth time I've watched it, and I'm still able to laugh at new stuff that I didn't see the other five times.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford
I've seen it several times now. Great film, and beautifully shot.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Deranged (1974)
Filmed before "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" but released a year after, this is another film telling the tale of serial killer Ed Gein, but the names and locations in this film were changed.

Now, this film had a few creepy scenes that were great and I had bad dreams about last night.

Anyways, I recommend this film to anyone who likes "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" or 70s B-Movie Horror in general.

Manhattan
First Woody Allen film I watched, I liked it a lot. Love the black and white. Though, to me, at the end scene, Isaac was a selfish ****, and I'm not sure if that was intentional.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2
Truly an amazing film. It's the perfect thing to finish off such an epic series. It's definitely the best Harry Potter film in my own opinion.

Best movie I have seen this year.

Kiki's Delivery Service

I've gotta say, even though I knew what was going to happen, that moment near the end where Tombo slips off the rope] was pretty tense. As for everything else, awesome as usual. I love some of the short character moments that Miyazaki slips in, for instance, when Kiki delivers the dish to the granddaughter.

The Shining
Wow, what a great horror film. I must see more Kubrick.

My god, that was a weird movie.
Still, it was quite funny.

Haha, this was the last film I watched too, funnily enough. I found myself poking fun an awful lot though, especially at that nerdy glasses kid. mini/tongue Not a bad film at all.

I loved that movie!
Haven't seen is in ages, though.
Might not hold up.

Harry Potter and the Deathy Hollows Part 2
Easily one of the best movies I've ever seen mini/smile. I saw part one last night, and thought it was alright, but not all so good. My mind was blown at how good this film was. Furthermore, even though I enjoyed this film so much, I'd be deeply upset if someone ever made another sequel, or a monologue, as it had a great ending to the whole series, and this was the best one of them all.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Why would anyone make a sequel when they are going of a book series?

Money.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes

Thoroughly exciting and intense. The visual effects overall are pretty amazing, despite the weird-looking clothing for Caesar at times.

Really entertaining, great thriller.

Once Upon a Time in Mexico
I like it more and more each time I watch it, though it's still probably Rodriguez's weakest film. Good fun, though. Johnny Depp is awesome in this.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

I stand corrected.
Sharkboy and Lavagirl was pretty bad, too.

Haven't seen any of them actually, but they look very bad. I agree that OUATIM is Rodriguez' weakest if excluding his kid movies.
EDIT:

Frenzy
Good Hitchcock film, very clever at times. Not part of his best, though imo.

Avatar: The Last Airbender
Title should speak for itself mini/confused

Diary of the Dead
It's a good zombie film, but I don't see what's so great about it. The character lack logic, and feels like it drags on a little, even though it's a 90 minute film.
