When you remove a minifgs hands that a small crack appears on their arm, particulalry underneath?

Re: Do you find that...

Could it damage my minifig ie break the arms?

Re: Do you find that...

I think it could break if the crack widens.

There was only one time when one of my minifigs' arms cracked. I had a tan lightsaber blade piece in both of it's hands. I had the blade put a way where it put pressure on the arm.

I think that you could be wiggling the hand back and forth or pulling the hand down when you're trying to take it out. Try twisting the hand while pulling straight out (slowly). That method worked for me, I never got a crack in the arm while trying to take a hand out.

Not literally dead, just no longer interested in Lego or animation.

Re: Do you find that...

If you remove them carefully and without yanking or jerking, it'll be much less stressful to the plastic, which is what causes such cracking.

Yes. I have had this before. Just be very careful when taking the hand off. Also, it might be cause more by taking the arm off. When you take the arm off, it usually takes a lot of pressure so try not to remove arms unless you need to.  mini/smile

So yeah, I'm back from my mind.

Re-attatching arms has cracked many a torso for me...

Removing them isn't so bad.

But hands haven't cracked the arms for me in ages.
