Topic: Casting call for news series!!!(closed!!!)

Hey people!!!I'm doing a casting call(again),and this time it's about a news program called LegoBrickNews,which is about the land of LEGO.O.K. here are the characters:
Victor:News-caster.Me.
Hover:Robot reporter.EpicDavi.
Legshark:Street reporter.EpicDavi.
Custard:weather dragon.Me.
Send your test lines to:[email protected]
EDIT:so far,the only voice actors are me and EpicDavi.
I shall add more people for a bigger "crew".

Anyway, this sounds cool, following in David's (known as fallentomato on BiM) footsteps, he's the guy wh created NNN (Nightly News at Nine).

He posted the topic twice and a mod merged them.

Why do you keep copying off of brickfilmers you like? You copied off of Fancypants with your clone videos, and now you're copying off of fallentomato with this?

I think I see why. You look up to them them, so you want to be like them. But you'll never be like them if you imitate them. If you want to be one of the great brickfilmers, come up with your own ideas. Don't do something that's been done before. No one will be intrested in a copy of someone else's work. Make something new, something original, something that people will find intresting.

Not literally dead, just no longer interested in Lego or animation.

This sounds way too much like The Nightly News at Nine.  Why not do something original instead of almost exactly copying the NNN series?

There are so many possible series or rather brickfilming plots in general that could be made and you had to take someone else idea? 

Wether fallentomato gave you permission or not, this is just sad that you can't think of your own idea's.

This is ridiculous, guys. If you're going to audition for CDP's series, this is the place to do it. It's not the place for discussing his ideas, NNN, or the difference between copying someone and an homage.

If you are not here to send in an audition, please do not post. I don't want to see any apology posts either - just let this thread do what it's supposed to do, 'kay?

The downvoting here is rather disappointing, too (not to mention the snarky replies).
