When I went to Brickfilms.com, I noticed they had both a friend and foe button.
Why doesn't BiM? Did it not go over good on Brickfilms? Did we have one but it was taken off? I'm just a little curious. 
Sorry if there's an obvious answer. I haven't been here that long.
My guess would be, because Smeagol doesn't want people to get upset/start spam over people getting offended that someone else put them as a foe. That'd just be my guess, and could you of possibly asked Smeagol in chat/message? Or another moderator? You sure make a lot of threads.

They added that after The Event (that caused everyone to leave). I guess TaaB was just ticking boxes of things to put in the new forum and included it. I don't see the point at all, it just clogs up the forum interface more.
There's no need to have foes on a community forum, that's like deliberately fighting against the intention of the site. This sort of site just really doesn't have a need for a friending system, it wouldn't have much practical use.
The only reason Brickfilms.com has one is because they upgraded to phbb3 and it has a bunch of useless features like that standard. The upgrade didn't happen until almost everybody had left.
There is enough infighting and resentment, adding an official feature that would encourage spats would NOT be a good idea.
I agree with everyone else. If we put a friend/foe button on the site......... 
and there's really no point in it. You can like a person on the site, or you can not like them without showing the whole site.
Probably no need to keep talking about this since we all seem to agree, discussion had been dead for a couple weeks before today.
