Bloody oceans is an all new LEGO brick film. I rated it PG-13, for violence, cussing, blood and gore. Bloody oceans is about
a war in Lego Land. Lego Land has been divided, based on the civil war in America in the 18 hundreds. It basically takes place in 1487 in Lego Land. We call it Bloody Oceans because they're is a lot of killing, stabbing, blood, gore, choking, diseases killing mini figures, also they're is burning Lego mini figures you can call this rated R. But we call it Rated  PG-13 because its mini figures. It will come out mid January, hope you enjoy it in mid January!

First, that can't be PG-13,it has to be R,even if it's a minifigure.Second,i think you should come up on something with Lego Land, because it sounds like the war happens in the theme park.It can't be PG-13 with all that violence and language. And second,if it happened long-ago,they didn't have cuss-words,and the a-word is another name for donkey. So it has to be R.

Cuss words have been around a long time.
One the site, we don't even really have any 'PG-13' or 'R' ratings, just content advisories so do we really need to worry about move ratings? Those are official ratings. And if he wants it to be Lego Land, let it be.

Plus, the site rules say:Graphically obscene films are not allowed to be posted here, even if it is only with minifigures.

Re: Working On A Major Brickfilm(50 Minutes Long 5 Parts) Bloody Oceans

If you guys don't like the sound of a graphic film then don't watch it, I personally am interested to see what he actually comes up with.

Re: Working On A Major Brickfilm(50 Minutes Long 5 Parts) Bloody Oceans

uh..how many brickfilms have you made before?.....:/ .Because it sounds like you need a lot of experience to make a 50 MINUTE BRICKFILM. AND keep interest of the audience for 50 MINUTES.

True, it is his choice, but the point in threads like these is to find out what other people think of your project beforehand. In the end it is his choice, but it can never hurt to listen to the opinions and suggestions of your audience, especially with a film that's THIS long, to make it more successful and appeal to more people.

But again like you said, this is his film, and I wish him luck on it whatever his final decisions are.

Yes, it can. Say, hypothetically, the people making the suggestions don't at all know what they are talking about, but they keep spouting out wrong ideas and stuff. He, perhaps unaware of their ignorance, might listen to the ideas, which could degrade his film.

Re: Working On A Major Brickfilm(50 Minutes Long 5 Parts) Bloody Oceans

I agree with Pillow. Yeah, don't listen to 'certain people.' There are groups of people who yell at me saying i'm the Antichrist for making brickfilms with graphic violence, but that's just certain people. There are others who are open minded and are willing to see what the director has for us, rather than when he announces his project bash him for the fact there is cursing, violence, etc. If this happens this could degrade the film from reaching its full potential.

Re: Working On A Major Brickfilm(50 Minutes Long 5 Parts) Bloody Oceans

Are we really all going gangbusters and jumping to arms over a new member's single paragraph-long film proposal? If the film ever materializes (no offense, RAFFIXPIE, but it's a huge project), feel free to avoid it. Until then, can we all just calm down a bit?

Re: Working On A Major Brickfilm(50 Minutes Long 5 Parts) Bloody Oceans

1: You're turning a thread about a film proposal into a discussion on when and when not to listen to people, etc. I think it's best to stay on topic.
2: I agree, sort of. But in this case, I think the 'people who may or may not know what they are talking about' actually have a good point; that a film shouldn't be mindless blood and gore, that is, unless you want the next Sharkzilla v. Monster Squid or whatever it's called. Don't be a party pooper.

Re: Working On A Major Brickfilm(50 Minutes Long 5 Parts) Bloody Oceans

i don't know if i am going to sit through the whole thing, but I'm interested to see how this will turn out. mini/smile and by the way, i don't have a problem with gore and cussing, but i try not to do it myself. anyway, good luck raffixpie mini/smile

Its not all about killing, its basically adventure guys. If you don't like the film DON'T WATCH IT! And the rating is R, we were gonna rate it R+ but with all your comments and our team thought it was a bit crazy. Were doing it ''R''. Thank you I would provide feedback about this brick film to anyone just post on this topic.

My brother (he said he would help above) and I play Black Ops together. Nothing I haven't seen. mini/wink
But for those who haven't had experiences watching really violent stuff, yeah, that's a good age rating.
I'm not going to watch your full video but I'm interested in it, I do want to see how it turns out. I wish you good luck, RAFFIXPIE!
