That's one dang good theme.
Also, I N E V I T A B L E I N C E P T I O N R E F E R E N C E. Thought I'd get it over with now.
Poop I am out of town until the 6th and I don't know if I'll have time...
Too bad, this was a great challenge.
That's a good idea. ![]()
What's your suggestion for the deadline Hazzat?
A day?
A week?
Or what.
Okay, mates, deadline extended:
NEW DEADLINE
12:00 P.M. August 16th EST.
Now I hope some people make some stuff. ![]()
This really is a great challenge.
yEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESHHHHHHH!!!
I shall enter most probably sir!
I have found myself most especially good at animating surreal messed up things, so that I will enjoy.
I am having too much fun I think.
Great theme!
I have an idea for this one! (nightmareeeeee ...)
Haha! Glad to you see you liked the idea. Well I'm entering this for sure - it'll be great fun to animate.
Im gonna start now on this!
I only have two days to do this (I'm gone for the other 11), so this could be interesting.
I only have two days to do this so this could be interesting.
Same here I hope I won't be to tired out from BRAWL.
P.S. I uploaded my extreme pain entry to Youtube. I know people prefer that more than Vimeo. So if one the mods could change link I would appreciate it thanks!

I'm going to need the time given by the dealine extention. I think I could do some 15 fps tests for the next two or three days and then start my entry after that.
I'm not going to lie, I expected better.
The title got me ready for something really scary but after seeing a vampire appear for two seconds and then he sat up in bed, I got disappointed. You need to let tension build up, it moved too fast and seemed more like a minor bad dream more then a nightmare. Sorry, but I didn't really enjoy (I didn't downvote it though).
EDIT: Why was he smiling when he woke up?

He he he xD
I hope people don't make stuff like I N C E P T I O N though.
I do love the movie, however, it's not very realistic in terms of dreaming. I know dreaming very well. I've become extremely skillful in lucid dreaming and dream control (which is really fun BTW), and that's not how it works. xD
Anyway, glad to see so many people interested in this. ![]()
This could churn out a lot of entries, and maybe even one of those really great legendary level entries.
Keep animating! ![]()
I've actually got an idea, and some motivation. Expect an entry from me (after BRAWL).
I have an idea!
Well, this is definitely the most interesting themes we've had lately, I'm intrigued in seeing the other's entries. I might make one as well, I won't enter Brawl so I should have time, though don't expect anything from me, as I'm busy my project. Good luck to all the entrants.
Edit: Comment on Brick's entry:
I think it was too short, for anightmare. In a nightmare you need time, lot, to build up the tension, the atmosphere. You have to make us see only what's necessary, or even less: that way our imagination makes everything look scarier, worse, and that's because what one usually doesn't know it's what's more scary. Yours was too short, you didn't have enough time to build the atmosphere, the pace should have been slower, and, well, that face didn't really give the idea of someone screaming, it looked like he was smiling. Still, the animation was good, and cinematography, from what I remember, was ok. You shold just add content. I hope this was helpful.
