Topic: Chrome Lego?

I noticed that some people make chrome Lego customs. You know, shiny pieces. How would I do that to some of my bricks? Please help.

Re: Chrome Lego?

I believe they do it by spraying them with vapourised chrome, or something...

No, when you will spray the brick, it will have metalic colour, not chrome. If you want the silver chrome paint, you need to buy some spetial painting machine... Sorry, but that is a chemical process.

Re: Chrome Lego?

Lego used to make a lot of chrome parts but now they use just a silver paint mixed with the plastic, which is not that shiny mini/confused

Yeah, that's quite true.  I happen to have some old chrome parts myself from years back.

Re: Chrome Lego?

Buy the assassin droids battle pack-3 of the droids are chromed.

Re: Chrome Lego?

Oy vey, CDP. How many times are you going to bump old threads with irrelevant information? I've tried to be nice, but this is getting to be ridiculous.

Golden was asking about bricks, not Assassin Droids. What's more, the battle pack you are referring to is out of production. Please read the thread before posting in it. Please?
