Re: Build-A-Brickbuster
Hmmm, maybe I'll edit Marooned and enter that. Just as long as nobody thinks I'm cheating entering it into two things. But what have I got to loose?
I could make this my 'directors cut'. ![]()

In the future, I might make it vids made that year, but for the first one, as I'm getting the word out, I didn't want to restrict it by any means because I didn't know how many entries we'd get, and thought just finding the best (so enter a past favorite) would ensure we had a good show. If someone enters "Camelot," and I think it's unfair, I'll just show that at the "Best Of" show.
What it comes down to is this is an AMAZING opportunity for anyone willing to take the time to send a Youtube link to [email protected] by Friday. The rules couldn't be more open. The prizes couldn't be better. The judge couldn't be more respected. And it's free.
Yessir. Thanyou much!
Okay, great. I'll do it. Just one more question though, would you like me to edit out what my film 'Marooned' was made for. It was made for a competition held on this site, and I put that in the opening title. Would you like me to cut it out, or shall I just send it to you how it is on youtube?
I would prefer that you do edit it, actually. Make it Build-A-Brickbuster!
How do you submit YouTube videos to this?
"Pirates rule!" might work well. ![]()
Email a link to [email protected]. Upload at www.buildabrickbuster.com or mail a DVD. Include name, age and contact info. Then there's my YouTube page, www.youtube.com/memekiller.
Man, I feel so ashamed I didn't spend enough time on making my movie. By now, I would be almost at 99%. Oh well, maybe next time (if there will be a next time".
Enter one you've done in the past. All LEGO Movies are eligable.
To put it explicitely: have you ever made a brick flick? Then you can enter.
Yes, but I feel that none of my actual videos is good enough, or if it is it doesn't have a story, or maybe it's too short. This one would have beensomething different from what I already have. Better, maybe. Something really worth a watch, I hope.
Okay. If you want to let the judges decide, all it takes is an email.
Oh well, I can try send 2 videos that I think are the most decent ones: I have nothing to loose, anyway. Probably tomorrow I'll be shooting all day long, but that won't be enough to get the thing done, so all I could do is to send those 2 videos. Too bad I didn't work enough. Maybe I'll send an e-mail with the links tomorrow. Still not sure, though.
I've sent my film in on YouTube. ![]()
I'm uploading mine as we speak ![]()
I'm going to double check with Sméagol about this first I think, just to make sure I am allowed to enter this. I'm still a bit unsure. Because my film was made for TOY, so I want to make sure he's okay with me entering this in.
EDIT: contacted Sméagol, he's fine with me entering this. I'll edit out the first bit, and upload another unlisted version to youtube. Happy days.

Alright, sorry for the double post. But I remember reading on the site something about the maximum size being 190MB or something like that. Mines about 400 I think. Is it still okay, is that only if you're sending a DVD (I'll send mine as an unlisted youtube video).
Also, is there a max running time limit? Because 'Marooned' is over 14 minutes. And I've edited out the 'made for BIM 2011 TOY' bit at the beginning, and replaced it with 'a film by Jack Bond'.
Okay, I'm now sorry for the triple post.
Anyway, I submitted mine by Email. Did you get it dokrider? It's my marooned film.
Again, apologies for the triple post.
Okay, because people seem to just be finding out about the contest, we're extending the deadline to Aug. 9, so there's still time to submit. Want to make sure we get the most entries we can!
Submit link to: [email protected]. Or upload to www.buildabrickbuster.com.
