A TRON: Legacy Lightbike Wip. Suggestions?

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

That's pretty sweet. mini/smile
I instantly recognized what it was without seeing that you said what it was first, so it's reasonably good.
Seems to be missing something, though. I'm not as familiar with the new movie, and have only seen the old one.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

In the original the cockpit is closed, and the new one is more like a motorbike in that they are on it instead of in it. So I can understand why it looked awkward. I tried making the original sort but it looked like poop.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

Look's like it has four wheels instead of two. But other than that, nice job!

Why are you looking at my signature?
Mod edit: Your signature started it.
... Oh yeah.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

I love the angle, it's cool to have a building not going with the studs. mini/smile
Gives it a very realistic look.
I also like the wheel hubs and the different colors of gray to give it that brick look.
Though, I'd loose those tiles on the roof, they just make it look kind of weird.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

I like it.

It looks like one of those houses in cemeteries that have dead bodies in them. Very cool.

Knowing Kinz, it probably is. mini/tongue

I like it, it has a very nice design to it, very life-like.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

Nice mausoleum.

I see part of a destroyed Market Street in front of it.
(I'm in the proccess of desroying mine.)

Not literally dead, just no longer interested in Lego or animation.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

Very nice rock wall coloring.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

It looks ok but what is it being used for?

I think that it could be a little more detailed. Maybe add a few waiting-in-line chairs on the wall?

I could help a lot better if I knew what it was. mini/smile

WIP graveyard. Trying to find lots of green to cover up that color.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

You should make a set design tutorial Kinz, I really love the sets you make.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

Thanks, that's an interesting idea actually.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

That's pretty nice. mini/smile
Some trees might be nice though, and I find that a few leaf pieces on the ground add some nice detail.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

I'm building a few tree's to add, don't worry, there's going to be  a lot more detail added to the set.

Re: Sets and Props Critique Thread

Looks great, but it lacks detail.  You could add some trees, rocks, dirt patches, etc.  Also, if you want it to look like an old, abandoned graveyard, you could add an iron fence, or a crumbling wall, and I would suggest adding lots of mossy pieces.
